...or if you haven't got one (which I didn't for a long time), from the wilds around you? Perhaps combined with supermarket ingredients. You see, I like to grow herbs and a bit of fruit, suddenly realised I'm being kind of influenced by Oblivion when I found I had to get a bergamot plant (OK, it's also known as beebalm, good for the pollinators, has a nice flower, but I don't have a lot of culinary uses for it.) I've also now got a strange hankering to cover walls and fences with morning glory, that's got to be OB's fault. Be interesting to see how far one could go to set up an Oblivion Garden, though there are surprisingly few plants in Oblivion that match with reallife herbals.
Anyway, I definitely know I can make Restore Personality (Fennel/Columbine), which would be really really useful after a hard day. Shouldn't really try that at home, though, because every part of columbine is toxic in real life. Out in the woods meanwhile, I do know of a nice big patch of nightshade, not to speak of all the fly amanita that pops up at this time of year (funny, it's always either called fly agaric or amanita muscaria in the UK, though the latter is just Latin for fly amanita). Not fixing to grow those out in the garden though. What would the neighbours say?
Oh yes, and how about realworld plants that could work as facsimiles of Bloodgrass, Harrada or Spiddal Sticks? It would be rather cool to create a burnt-out Oblivion gate in the middle of the lawn...
