What promises do we have with Crysis 3?

Seriously though; How can they completely abandon their community and all of their previous work and expect any of us to buy a new product from them? Am I getting a discount because I own one of their now un-supported products? What happens when Crysis 2 ceases to function completely? Do I get a refund?

I like the gameplay, however, if C1 and C2 are par for the future of C3 I can see no reason to ever purchase C3.

Opinions? Answers?

Does any computer game have a lifetime warranty?

Completely irrelevant. When a part of my computer fails I can easily replace whatever's broken; are you implying that Crysis 1 & 2 are going to become open source so we can fix all of our own problems?

You don't offer a "new in box" product that you know is completely broken in a store, do you?

C2 has its flaws, but I have been playing it since day 1 (more than 18 months), and having lots of fun with it. I can say it's "completely broken".

That's not to say I'm happy with support by Crytek and EA, I'm not. But C2 it's not going to "cease to function completely", it's mostly a single player game that you can play in your computer as many years as you want. Multiplayer will die, as in any other game, when there aren't active servers.
