A descedant of my Oblivion character, which is a relative of my Morrowind character.

Kalivan Arcweaver

A High Elf spellcaster that I hope to enchant with lot's of spell absorption to counter his weakness.

Argonian

Really good at hand to hand, can turn invisible, jump high and shoot fireballs. Wears armor with lots of skulls on it and rips off his enemies heads yelling loudly.

Ritualistic argonian - similar themes to what others have mentioned. Avoids using destructive magic. Offensive capabilities will include hand to hand (hope it's good!) and blade (1 handed).

A Nord warrior-mage. I think I will focus on maces, heavy armor, smithing, restoration and destruction, much like the crusader pre-made class in OB.

Depends on what the races look like in-game. When Oblivion was announced I thought I was going to make an Argonian assassin, but then when I saw that Argonian was just a gecko head pasted onto a human body, I changed my mind.

They really should just pin a poll with this question asked lol.
First playthrough will probably be a Dark Elf, or a Nord, like I have in the past ES games. Really depends on what I feel like at the time.

Aaros Indoran - Dunmer Mercenary, Focused on combat, with magic supppoet and a little stealth. Loosely based on Mordecai from borderlands (Tall, lanky bastard with a kick ass goatee)/

Aeiron - Nord Warrior, dude from trailer basicaly.

Dark-Eyes - Argonian wizard, could make a come back from OB.

Ninjakitteh - Khajit con artist, Unofficial goof around character who's sole purpose is to steal everyones cheese.

I'm going to probably going to be playing a few different characters at once.

1) Nord male, twin shortswords or axes. A "Good" character, but probably going to solve most problems with violence. A lycanthrope if possible. Kind of a Berserker/Paladin mix.

2) Khajiit female, longsword in left, dagger in right that will be switched out for spells. Going to be the opposite of the previous character and be a criminal that avoids violence. Except for grinding.

3) Argonian male, relying solely on a bow, alchemy, and spells. not sure of his personality, but I'm probably going to use the fact I'm an Argonian to mess with the Dunmer for shiggles. This'll also probably be my modding character if I get it on PC.

4) Male Orc Alchemist. Not going to fight at all, pretty much going to see if I can live as an NPC. Get enough money to sleep and eat and stuff, earn money with a trade.

I'll make a wood elf and focus mainly on stealth play. For weaponry I'll go with a bow, and close range I'll switch to twin daggers. I'll dabble in magic a bit, maybe alteration and illusion. I'll skip restoration in favor of alchemy potions. And I'll be blonde, because face it, we have more fun.

Khajiit thief, Argonian thief/assassin, Nord warrior. I go first with the Khajiit but depends if Argonians look better I might try Argonian first.

My first will be an Argonian thief. I will be maxing his speed to...well max. At which point I will become The Roadrunner Bandit and go around stealing peoples' stuff and they'll all be too slow to catch me :D

I'll wear a cape and people will tell stories about me. "The day The Roadrunner Bandit stole my hat." They won't be the best stories, I mean we are in a country full of Nords after all.

So long as they don't change the stats of each race, I probably won't use anything other than Bretons.
I hate training my magic, so their initial stats help a little with that.
They have good defense against magic and a little more of it.
Since they don't have any combat related stats, and I always use a combat character, I get to level up higher and more frequently using my favorite tactics.

Gonna start off with a nord using a longsword and a shield. Second playthrough will be a nord dual-wielding 2 longswords (or 1 longsword for heavy attacks and a shortswords for fast attack depending on how the combat system will turn out to be).

I'll probably play a lot more than 2 playthroughs but i'll always be playing as a nord. I just can't see myself playing with the beast-races as they're just silly in my eyes. It's cool to see them walking in the streets or fighting them in battle, but i couldn't imagine myself being one, would destroy immersion. I don't mind elves, but they always looked ridiculous in the past.

Basically, nothing is as badass as a berserking nord!

Pure mage breton.
Frost magic and "darker" spells. Kind of a frost necromancer.
I avoid using restoration and prefer to use absorb spells from my summons.

Most likely I'm going to start with an Argonian stealthy character, specialised in bow and daggers.

Depends. If they improve hand to hand I want to make a Breton or Imperial monk type character.

If they improve stealth skills enough I'll go for a Dunmer thief/ninja

If neither I'll just make a big, Nordic, viking ass-kicker dual wielding a sword and an ax.
