Bosmer for the most part. I have dabbled with an altmer atronach mage, and a breton mage, but I usually come back to the Bosmer. Plus, I just finished a 2 day stretch of improving the tree house mod by Rabina just so I could have a nice home for a woodsy type character (like my Bosmer).

Plus, I once heard someone make a good point about being a Bosmer, "Being small also means you are a smaller target". :celebration:

I like being a sneaky, unarmored mystic archer that uses absorb health when in melee range, and supplements his attacks with illusion and homemade poisons. I am using a mod that makes acrobatics also an unarmored skill that gives you a shield effect based on your acrobatics skill (luckily there is no glow on me like with a shield spell though). He is also a good armorer and alchemist.

Currently a Breton Assassin, but in the past I have played Orcs, Argonians and Nords as well.

Imperial, as always. The superior race.

I have played as Nords, Bosmers and a Redguard before, though. But my main characters are generally Imperials.

I play as a Breton. I'm usually a major in the magic schools, but lately I've been focusing on marksman and sneak.

I always put most effort into my dunmers. Love that race. Fits well to a rogue/thief/hunter gameplay.

I am playing as a custom race right now, one of the N'Dwyll, but normally I play as a Dunmer Knight or Crusader.

Current character is a http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30304 (Tribal variant) Psijic (Custom class with blunt, armorer, destruction, alteration, mysticism, illusion, and restoration as major skills). Picked intelligence and willpower as favored attributes but gave heavy armor and alchemy the highest priority of her minor skills. Nothing like having the starting magicka bonus of an Altmer combined with the alchemy and marksman bonuses of a Bosmer. Since I'm running COBL (And with it, the overhauled birthsigns; I'm also running a ton of other mods), I picked the Ritual birthsign to get a MASSIVE bonus to magicka in the early game. Combine that with the aforementioned min-maxing and you've turned a glass cannon into a powerful world class battlemage.

Got tired of vanilla races a long time ago. (I've never even played a Khajiit or Argonian character--just Imperials, Redguards, a Bosmer, and a Dunmer.)

How does the Ritual Birthsign give you increased Magicka?

I suspect reviewing Lelouch's whole post reveals the answer. :)

It's not the vanilla version, but via http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21104. The overhauled birthsigns are part of that mod.

Currently a woodelf, like most of my characters, except that I have played a couple of khajiit, a dark elf and a deadra custom race.

Oh, I see. I'm not on the PC, thus not familiar with "COBL". Thanks for clarifying, or rather, sorry for my lack of insight, lol. ;)

Oblivion was meant to be played on the PC, though. You can only play vanilla for so long...
