Well, this is the first topic I'm making on this forum, well so hello everyone. I think I'll fit right in ^^' .

This here is the place to tell as what race you are playing right now and what races you prefer to play! I'm not having a character right now but I am about to create an Altmer, or Dunmer. Since I choose them as mages almost whole the time! ^^'

I'm playing a Wood Elf and a Dunmer, at the moment. I generally play only Wood Elves. :tongue:

Actually, instead of a mage I made a Thief kind of character, a Bosmer. It's my first Bosmer in like months and I'm curious if I'll like it as I used to.

Welcome to the forum! I would give you a fishy stick, but I lost the link. I'm sure someone will give you one though.

I am playing a Dunmer by build, but he is a Dunmer/Imperial half-breed from a role playing point of view. When I built him, I tweaked the skin tone to take out the green/grey. My avatar is a pic of him. Avenger (custom) class. Similar to a battle mage I would guess. Skilled in blade, blunt and bow with magic abilities too.

My current character is an orc, generally, my characters are that race, or Khajiit or Argonians, I seem to recall once making a Redguard too.

I never play an Orc, Khajit, Argonian or a Redguard. Those are the races I never play. :')

Helena Aurelie, my Healer and main roleplay character, who is in the process of being remade, AGAIN (this time due to save corruption issues), is a Breton.

I mainly play Bretons, Dunmer, and the one Argonian I had in the Dark Brotherhood who was quite successful. I feel the need for a thief...hmm...

*wanders off to ponder some more*

Rythe Arano seems to be my constant. I've had the Dunmer Spellsword/Battlemage for about 1 1/2 years now, the longest for any of my characters.
So, due to my chronic restartitis, I have made many characters, but I've finally found three I'm happy with.
Rythe Arano, My Dunmer Spellsword/Battlemage
Dar-R' Jaar, my Khajiit thief. I'm finally going to finish the Thieve's Guild with him.
Abel Engarth, my Imperial Guard.
I can play most races, but I've never had a successful Altmer, Nord or Orc character.

Many of my characters (including my current one) are Bosmer archers. Sometimes I'll make a Dunmer warrior/mage. I've made two Altmer mages, Qorwyne and Kelendiil. I've only made one Breton, a Knight Crusader named Veric. My preference is definitely Bosmer, though.

Playing a Breton, pure mage. Have to say though, Oblivion is even less friendly than Morrowind when playing a pure-magic user, at least we had levitation and could engage in our 'battle of the minds'. Here it's all about running in circles for about an hour, using a summon and hoping for the best, while some crazy dude (apparently a 'mage') is trying to hack you with a wooden-shelf. Paralysis is expensive...
