The races look like they are going to be very individual and distinctive. For example I've never really played an Orc, but the screenshot we saw looked so awesome that I want to try one

I like to choose race/class combinations that would be considered alien and strange to the given region; these are some of the toons I'd like to make...

Altmer - monk/restoration magic style

Dunmer - assassin/destruction magic style

Argonian - conjuration magic/archer style

If Nords are as strong as they were in Oblivion, I shall definitely pick a Nord. Those guys are literally tanks: unstoppable.

I normally choose a nord or a dark elf for my character, even though I usually play a stealth type. I don't choose any of the better stealth classes because I don't like them aesthetically. Hopefully in Skyrim the character models will be improved enough that I will change my choice.

my first and main character will always be a dunmer... its part of a roleplay i've got going in the elder scrolls now, a line of dunmeri heroes... the one in skyrim is gonna have alot of mixed blood in him, since my dunmer from oblivion married an argonian.

i do love argonians and khajiit, though... they'll likely be other characters i make, as well as a nord... but my first and main concern must be the descendant of my past heroes. :happy:

also, i just like the dunmer feel... their racial bonuses of resistance to fire and the ability to summon ancestral spirits.

I only pick Khajiit as they are most aesthetically pleasing and everything about them is so awesome, plus they have weak spots to sweets. I love sweets. :liplick:

If I weren't going to pick Khajiit for some reason, I'd have to wait and see what the other races look like now.
