I usually play my first time through as a Breton ArcherMage, my second time as a Nord Knight and if I really like the game I will RP as a Vampire Hunter (custom player). I am always good and heroic, as I have no interest in playing an evil type character (just like RL). In fact I love trying to reign destruction on the Assassin guild.

I can see myself making an Imperial. I love the feeling of being a semi-blank slate since Imperials are very diverse.

I've usually gone with Nords on the first play through. So I guess Nord, maybe a Dunmer.

Removing the Argonian race would be a terrible idea, I assume they are in Skyrim just a little less then they were in Cyrodiil.
I will most likely play as an Argonian at first, maybe they will create variations of them such as a warm blooded Argonian that swims in icy lakes.
Then I will probably move on to be an Imperial or Nord. Most likely Nord, this is skyrim after all.

No, nords would have respect towards the orsimer. Hell, nords sometimes do invite orcs to raid with them. No, the race the nords would hate the most would be the altmer, as they represent everything nords find wrong, pretty much.

You people need to start doing some lore research.

Usually do my first play through as a Dunmer Nightblade assassin. Although it will depend on the story and how the devs treat the races. I'm thinking it might be cooler to play through as a generic warrior then do my second play through as my Nightblade. That way I would have my weapon fix and know the lay of the land so I can concentrate on my Nightblade character.

I've looked a little into lore; but just because im not an expert is no reason to get upset. Ive been a fan of elder scrolls since 04, and I mainly just play the game. The first time i looked at lore was 3 months ago, so yeah >_> get over it

Well, the Nords don't like Elves much, but I think I'd like being one... I just like the "foreignness" of being an elf without going too far and being a Khajiit or an Argonian. (Not that they're bad, I like them too.)

It might depend on a few things:

If there's super-acrobatics in the next game I'm going to be a Bosmer.
If the magic is just stunningly beautiful I'm going for Breton.
If the combat is a lot more fun I'll be an Imperial or a Nord.

I'm not planning on roleplaying at all my first play through though, so it really doesn't matter to me all that much.

The real fun begins when you beat the main quest, take a deep breath, and dive into the game now that you've gotten a running start. Walk through the fields, swim in the lakes, meet the people, take in the sights, and RLH from the things that want to rip off your head.

Oooohhhh, I really hope they have boats!!

my main character is usually an Argonian, but sometimes I go for a bit of breton, or nord, or even orc, although personally I hated Oblivion orcs. too smooth, and sixy. gimme some rough, hard chiselled warriors carved from rock and iron anyday.

I've always played as an Argonian in the Elder Scrolls, so as long as they're in TESV, I'll be happy. Have you always had a race you've played as? What will yours be?
