I can't decide between Dark Elf, Imperial, or Breton at the moment. I'll just have to wait and see what they look like.

I usually play a Breton though.

Imperial. I just love that race.

Plus, I have a little story going on in my head about the Oscarus family. It began in Morrowind and it'll end in Skyrim.

Nord, 9 of 10 of my morrowind and oblivion characters was nords(except for one breton mage). Will be the case with this game too. Probably ill start with a nord rogue.

I almost always make my starting character in ES games some kind of Dark Elf battlemage... but I feel like I want to do something different this time even though I have a feeling magic will be OMGAWESOME in TESV.... I've NEVER played a pure knight character before using alchemy instead of spells so I might try that. Nord then?

Most likely an Imperial. The characters I role-play with include an imperial, and argonian, and a khajiit. One has conquered the wilderness of Morrowind, the other two Cyrodiil. Its time to bring back my character from Morrowind which happened to be an imperial.

Also never thought about continueing the "bloodline" of previous characters I've played in older games, that's a good idea...

My Oblivion character was an archery mage Dark Elf. Maybe I could do something similar in skyrim?

My favourite characters in Morrowind and Oblivion were Orsimer, so I'll probably start as an Orc in Skyrim. Seems to match my tastes and playstyle quite well.
