What race would you choose for a Celtic style character?

Just a thought.....

I noticed many of the pics of what people would like their characters to look like were Scottish highlander looking.

baring in mind Celts are a real people and obviously not a TES race, I just wondered what race people trying to create a Celtic style charcter would choose

Nords look the nearest and Nordic people did occupy many parts of Scotland, Ireland and Northern England, yet Breton are a Celtic people in real life (and I'm sure the root influence for the Bretons of TES) so these would technically be closest

It kinda depends what you mean by 'Celt'

If you were looking for a wild, brutal Highlander character, then you'd probably be best with a Nord. There's apparently going to tattoos and maybe facial markings, so you could probably make a Braveheart character.

But, as you mention, the Bretons came over from France seeded the Celtic peoples of Cornwall and Wales. So Bretons would be a possible way to go as well.
