What race do you favor?

Dunmer for me. I always play dark elves in every RPG that has them. I just like how they look. Yes, I am shallow that way.

I've always liked the concept of a reptilian humanoid warrior but so far the art direction for these Argonian mates havn't enticed a selection out of me. I tend to assume the races that reflect my own heritage: Imperial/Nord. The dark elves are the only race that's broken that trend and for that they get my vote.

A little disappointed that I couldn't choose more than one, but I gave Orc a vote on Blossom's behalf. I have characters of just about every race (including a few added or made playable by mods), but I've done Orc more than once, the first being a conventional Heavily-armored Blunt-wielding all-combat male, and Blossom being the opposite.

Ended up voting Dunmer, as a tribute to Lothran who has stood by my side for over four years now. Bless you, laddie :)

Would have voted Nord as well if multiple choices were possible

I like the Bretons, Imperials, Nords, Ra Gada, Orcs, Dunmer etc. The only one I don't like is the Bosmer.

Aww, that′s gonna make a certain Bosmer archer very sad :sadvaultboy:

I started out loving Dark Elves for the way they look, but after playing a few I've just sort of fallen in love with them for some reason. I don't really know why. But I like their Destruction and Blade bonuses as well as their resistance to fire. Khajiits and Argonians come close though.

As I like characters who are good with weapons but also with magic, Bretons under the Mage and Apprentice signs really fit the bill.

Breton for me, followed by Argonian. I love playing a Breton for the versatality and Argonians for the sneaky characters.

It's Nords for me. Second would have to be Dunmer. Nords I just plain love. Meat, ale, and good fights. The lore is also great. Their customs I love. The kinship and brotherly love they feel for each other I also love. Mine lives in the Bruma house, and after returnig frOm an adventure heads to the pub for ale and some fresh meat, and to exchange adventure tales with the other Nords he's friends with. Nothing like mead, mutton, and tales of good fights with friends. With Dunmer I just like them, don't know why. But not more than Nords. :foodndrink:

There isn't an "undecided" option for the poll. I'm torn between various human and elf races. I like them all about the same, for various reasons.

Being a fan of elves in general, I like Bosmer and Dunmer, Dunmer slightly more because of their skill in both blades and marksmanship, and also due to their resistance to fire :D

I'm partial to Imperials despite how boring their race is. Mainly because my main playthroughs of Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion are Imperials. I also plan to play an Imperial for my first Skyrim playthrough. My main playthrough in Arena was a High Elf though.

Generally I play warriors and I like the Redguard the most for that purpose. I like Nords a lot too.

I liked Dunmer in Oblivion because of their fire resistance. They're pretty well-balanced as well.

it's weird I know I voted Redguard for their high level of speechcraft, though if I had to start all over I might chose nord or a high magicka character. like a breton though they not very hardy for a batlemage.
But I think you guys probably say otherwise like yeah breton make a great base for a battle-mage even if their are bit stuffy and highborn uppity, haha. no offense they're okay.

I like Bretons Because of there resistance to magic with the Mundane Ring Magic don't hurt them at all so mages bring it on after that is done I can concentrate on building warrior skills making him strong at fighting and restoration. Warriors imune to magic are in my opinion the strongest character you can make.

For instance I have a Breton Battle mage at level 48 Blade,Block,Heavy Armor, Destruction,Alteration,Mystisism, restoration, and Armorer all master skills. All my attributes are at 100 except agility personality and luck. with Mundane ring and ring of Iron fist I'm imune to magic reflect 66 mele damage and 53 spell. So basically I'm untouchable unless another warrior comes along who is stronger. My health is 650 my magic is 280 and fatigue is 375. I can put the difficulty meter all the way up and still beat any monster or mage or warrior.

For a race, M'aiq would choose the Kajiit, the Kajiit are very fast... M'aiq is very fast.
