What race do you play the least?

Post » Mon Sep 05, 2011 2:29 am

I'm curious, what is the race(s) that you play the least or never use?
For me it has to be Altmer, Dunmer, and Breton. I don't know why I'm just not attracted to those races, I had one Altmer that I played for about 10 minutes, think I had one Dunmer that I never really played , My first character ever was a Breton but now I just don't feel motivated to play one.

As I have only one character, a Dunmer, I had to vote on all the others

I have played Nords, Redguards and Bretons. Alas though, I am now permanently stuck it seems with a little wood elf.

I voted Argonian. I love them dearly, especially the womenfolk, but suppose they would be my last choice to actually try and play.

And I think she would be very disappointed if you turned your back on her ;)

Nord/Redguard/Breton. I have played with every race in Oblivion but I prefer playing as a non-human.

I've never played Orcs, Redgurads, Argonains, or Dunmer. I've played the others at least once. Khajiit are my favorite.

I've never played as an Argonian or a Nord, and that's across all TES games. I do plan on my first Skyrim character to be a Nord. I once tried to make a male Nord bard (using mods to give him a lute and bard-y outfit to go around Cyrodiil playing music at various bars and having adventures on the side) but it just didn't really work out. I guess Nords just seem to big and burly to be a bard (even though that was kind of the point) and it just threw me off. Or maybe it was because he was male and it's difficult for me to embrace a male character.

I might make an Argonian one day, but I'd say they're my last choice. They're the least relate-able to human beings, but since I've learned a lot about the lore, I feel like at this point I could probably get into an Argonian's head enough to play as one (it's for those reasons that I also really don't understand why people pick Argonians so much. It should be really difficult to roleplay as one accurately.)

Argonian. I've never played one. I can honestly say I've tried every other race but that. My favorite, being Bosmer.

I've most often played Breton. I've also played Redguard, Nord, Wood Elf and Dunmer. I have trouble playing Argonians and Khajiit. The only non-humanoid race I've ever been able to play in a video game is the Vulmane (a Wolf race) in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.

Seeing all the options, I can't recall ever creating an Imperial character. Like, ever! They are probably the less appealing race to me :P

Khajiit. I don't get the whole "cat-person" thing. I've played a couple of Argonian characters, and find that they're alien enough that I can see them as completely "non-human," and go from there with role playing. The Khajiit are just not quite there, in my opinion. The cat head and tail with the otherwise humanoid body is just silly.

In my opinion, both beast-races were a little better in Morrowind, where they were actually constructed more like "beasts," and moved differently from humanoids. A little better, but still silly...

I don't remember ever trying a Dunmer in Cyrodiil. They're just too friendly there. I prefer using Imperials & Redguards in Oblivion.

They are what you make them into. With their red eyes they make good vampires :)

I have played one Argonian character, but other than that, it's been nothing but Nord in Oblivion. So all other races happen to be equally played the least by me. I made a few Nord characters and eventually came up with the iteration that is Byron Frost-Heart and seem to be happy with that basic character design and just keep rerolling him and playing him through, again & again.

My thief is testing out Imperial. I felt kind of bland but the character I created does feel fresh if that makes sense lol

Breton: Are just like me. Intelligent and quirky. Love to tinker and figure out things. And doesn't really follow molds

Dunmer: Are my dark side ha

Altmer: My glass cannon mage

Nord: I am 1/4 Norwegian. My Grandmother speaks to me in Norwegian lol. So I am a Nord. I just cannot garden in the cold snow

I just cannot get motivated to play Orc, a cat, or a lizard 8(. I picked Argonian, but I really think it is a tie between Orc and Argonian.

I always wanted to make a shaman Khajiit
