What we really want, Bethesda

This is not a plea but a general idea and for your next Elder Scrolls Game. We know you want feedback on what to put in the game and this is my feedback over the course of playing your games. Here are my suggestions. I hope that you listen to these and maybe incorporate them as well.

Let me start by praising the Elder Scrolls series and say a few things I loved about each Elder Scrolls Game I played.

Morrowind:

You could kill any character at any time and you would reap the consequences. This is something that should be in the next Elder Scrolls game. Aside from children and perhaps two or three characters needed for more than ten quests all characters should be allowed to die at least by the hands of the player character. Maybe make them npc and beast non kill able.

Oblivion:

What can I say about Oblivion. It had the best thieves guild quest and dark brotherhood quest. It had excellent side quests as well. I hope that the quest writing gets better for Elder Scrolls VI. Skyrim lacked in this area overall in my opinion though it too had a few excellent quests here and there.

Skyrim:

The newest Elder Scrolls game. The one freshest in most people's minds. It did a lot of bold new things. My favorite was the addition of the perks system though it does need work.

And now for the worst features of the three previous games.

Morrowind:

Besides the horrid humanoid graphics, and not being able to do every quest in a single play through, not much was truly bad in morrowind. Perhaps the worse thing was too many cliff racers. Skyrim had a similar problem of too many dragons but in morrowind cliff racers were harder to battle because the horrid battle system. I modded it everytime.

Oblivion:

Awful leveling system for some. I never had much of a problem with it though which is rather ironic but for Roleplay purposes it is bad. Also aside from dungeons used in quests all the others were too generic. The land was also generic and according to lore it should have been more jungle like.

Skyrim:

Skyrim has a few faults. No spell making and few spell choices. One or the other would be fine by me but not both. And magic in the game especially destruction spells suffered greatly. It had potential to be truly great but it wasn't and that's what bothered me the most I think. Now I'm gonna take an arrow to the knee for the rest of my post here.

Elder Scrolls VI: Valenwood, Elsweyr, Summerset Isle or Black Marsh

Odds are higher than 90% that Bethesda will chose one or more of these locations for the next game. Personally I wish they would chose Valenwood and Elsweyr together. But this is not entirely likely. Sorry I got side tracked.

The next game needs the following:

A better journal. Something like a mix of Oblivion's with Skyrims multiple objectives at the same time.

Underwater combat and exploration. Skyrim too lacked this.

Radiant stories but better than skyrim and hopefully less relied upon.

Spears and crossbows.

A main quest line like morrowind one that is put less emphasis on than skyrim and oblivion.

No infinite generic quests.

Werewolfs and vampires and vampire clans. Make them be curable and werewolfs more morrowind like. Also make them obtainable again.

Make another imperial city sized city and a few whiterun sized cities and then small villages.

Will edit if I think of anything else.
