What should i name my character

Post » Tue Sep 20, 2011 3:06 pm

In most of my games i just call myself my own name, or something like 'dude' but in skyrim i would rather have some other name
So this is were you guys come in, can anyone come up with a name, that means something totally stupid in an other language( like potato) but sounds kinda cool in any other language( i'm dutch btw, so no dutch)
thanks in advance :)

Dunno, but what would it matter? I dont need a name that 'fits' my character or background, i just want a name that me and my friends can laugh about :P but probably a Dunmer if you must know

I just plugged a phrase i liked into a translator. After a few translations I got one that sounded neat. Have you seen what scandinavian looks like?

What?! you aren't gonna RP a character or care about his name or backstory? OMG! you are such a casual gamer! stop ruining the industry!

I KID! I KID!
well I took your suggestion literally, here are some of the cooler ones...

Potato

Chzech: Brambor

Icelandic: Kartoflu XD

Hungarian: Burgonya

Norwegian: Potet

Polish: Zeimnak

well actually those were the only ones I checked, but they are all pretty cool :)

Efram Longfellow

Personally I like to take a name I've seen in previous TES titles and tweak it a little, like "Telvan" taken from "Telvanni". It just feels like it fits a little better.
