Indifferent.

I never had any loyalty to the Empire, but I was fiercely loyal to the Septim family, therefore I was (in a sense) loyal to the Empire. This new Mede Empire is going to have to win me over, but as of now I'm not sure what to think. Though I respect Titus Mede's conquest of Cyrodiil, this new dynasty is going to have to do a lot more to wow me.

I've become so attached to the fictional continent of Tamriel and the Cyrodiilic empire that I carry a biased support of the empire with me to all my Elder Scrolls characters in all the Elder Scrolls games. I treat Tamriel as though it is a real place I inhabit. As such, I believe it is for the good of the people, for the maintenance of peace, and for the foundation of a strong defense against exterior threats (Akaviri, Daedric, Dragonish, etc.) that the Cyrodiilic empire should survive and flourish intact with influence spanning across all of Tamriel.

It largely depends on how the Empire is. 200 years is a long time, and enough time for a corrupt Empire to turn very goodly or a goodly Empire to turn very corrupt. I'm hoping the Mede dynasty is a lasting one of moral nobility and service to the people, and if that's the case I will definitely support the Empire faction.

I'm hoping both sides will be presented in a sympathetic light though.

If the quest line -hopefully- allows different choices with different outcomes I'll play both sides, but my first choice is always to help the rebels.

For my first character which is probably gonna be non-nord I will be pro-imperial I guess - depending on the history.
When I play as a nord I am definitely going to be anti-imperialist, I think that as a "proud" nord you do not want any foreign rule!

If I play as a shady character I am probably going support the side who pays me the most!

A fine line between the two. Sure, noone liked Imps bossing everyone around, but if those upstarts think that they are ready to lead a country, they're bonkers. If Skyrim becomes independent, I see a lot of chaos and blood in our future.
