Have you seen the female Forsworn armor?

Not to mention Steel Plate and Ebony armor, damn form-fitting for a heavy armor :lmao:

I'm assuming since Oblivion was re-released as a M-Rated title because you had the ability to MOD shirtless women in game Bethesda said screw it just throw "sixual Themes" on there so we can skip the inevitable battle with the ESRB.

The ESRB definition of sixual themes includes very tame stuff that is only vaguely sixual. Like marriage. Or the comments of a certain wife in Whiterun who hints that her husband might be 'intimately involved' with the Jarl.

Well that takes us way back past the 1950's (In which I thought these people were stuck) right to Victorian times.
What is next? Are they going to demand we dress up our table legs in sort of little trousers because a bare table leg may remind you of goings-on?
(Victorians did that.)

There's that one mission outside of Winterhold where the guy you're looking for is having six with dead bodies. It doesn't show it, but it's pretty obvious that's what he's doing when you find his journals and read them. Overall, "sixual themes" aren't a big deal in this game.

So as I understand it, it got the M rating for things which would pass completely unnoticed on network TV or a PG movie.

Probably. It's not like there is actual [censored] and orgies to attend in this game.

I guess you haven't found The Lusty Argonian Maid v2 yet

Plenty of time.... :hubbahubba:

If you want "sixual themes", check this out: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Real_Barenziah,_Part_IV

Pretty sure it's been censored for more recent games, but that was in Daggerfall.

I met a woman who was kidnapped and sixually abused for a fortnight by bandits. "sixual themes" to me doesn't mean you have to have people rutting onscreen.

There's a "hot coffee" minigame involving the player and Cicero.

Don't ask how to find it. :shakehead:

So now a game is flagged for sixual content merely because there are women in the game?

There are representations of the female body. briasts are titillating to many in Bethesda's primary market, and the mere suggesting that they may make an appearance causes arousal in puritanical geezers. Also, ESRB is... more than a bit ridiculous.

  • Statues of Dibella have visible nipbles
  • Lots of innuendo
  • The Lusty Argonian Maid
  • A character who is referred to as the "God of graqe" (minus the G)
  • Sanguine. 'Nuff said.

I did the quest for Sanguine. Nothing sixual about it, not even remotely.

I thought it was because the game makes your nipbles harden...not that it happens to me or anything

This definitely doesn't happen to me either.

And on topic, I'd say that some of the outfits are skimpy enough to qualify as sixual themes. Nocturnal, anyone? :P

It's a shame really, that the world has come to this. What happened to the days when people weren't deathly afraid of boobs?

Yea I have to admit that I was a bit taken back at this game getitng a 'sixual themes' warning when it's really very tame...and mostly innuendo.

I was picturing some Dragonage style lovings, especially with the whole marriage aspect of the game, and I was a tiny bit disappointed that it wasn't there.

I just Googled the ESRB rating for Dragon Age Origins and it says "sixual content", not "sixual themes". I think that's the difference.

Well it's not like they're doing a good job with the cooking or cleaning parts, so they must have been put in for some reason :foodndrink:

Sorry couldn't resist...
