What "sixual themes?"

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 4:42 pm

Ok, just curious. The game is rated M for several things, one of which is sixual Themes. Maybe I just haven't seen any yet or something (93 hours in at the moment), but so far, I haven't seen a SINGLE thing that could even be construed as any kind of sixual theme in this game. So far, the only things I have seen or heard about dealing with anything like it would be the fact that if you take their clothes, they are left in underwear... and maybe the fact you can get married. If that is what constitutes "sixual themes" than that may be the LAMEST thing I've ever seen or heard! LOL...

There's a quest in Riften that has sixual themes, although it is a bit tame.

Sell six and violence are linked in the brain...

Therefore Skyrim must be very sixy indeed.

Molag Bal, god of sixual assault
Also in Windgelm I think they believed the serial killer sixually assaulted them.

Without spoiling or crossing the lines of forum rules I know [censored] was brought up a few times in dialog.

Edit: sixual assault, ffs

  • Statues of Dibella have visible nipbles
  • Lots of innuendo
  • The Lusty Argonian Maid
  • A character who is referred to as the "God of graqe" (minus the G)
  • Sanguine. 'Nuff said.

The ESRB definition of sixual themes includes very tame stuff that is only vaguely sixual. Like marriage. Or the comments of a certain wife in Whiterun who hints that her husband might be 'intimately involved' with the Jarl.

Have you done the quest with the conjurer in a cave outside of Dawnstar?

That one is disturbing and sixual at the same time.

What's sixual about it? Proper weapon maintenance is an important part of bearing arms that any weapon owner should practice, less their weapon become rusty. While I prefer to polish my weapons myself to ensure it's done properly, there's nothing sixual about having your Argonian maid do it if you can afford one.

You don't even want to know what Lydia does while sitting in your room when you sleep.

There's a necrophile hiding out in some cave far to the north,

You meet him during one of the Thieves Guild/Dawnstar misc jobs.

No but I'm on it. If my companion looks better in it, she'll wear it!

Whenever i walk into Breezehome i hear moans upstairs. damn good thing my wife is downstairs. so i know it's just Lydia and i won't have to kill anyone.

There is a quest where you embarrass a woman for sleeping with 3 men in short succession.

I wouldn't say Skyrim has sixual themes but rather hidden, hinted innuendos and the possibility of scantily clad but still partially clothed realistic looking people that *might* inspire sixual feelings in some but not all players. lol. So it should be M for "the possibility of some people thinking about sixual themes."

Hehe. The only TES game that really deserved an "M" rating as far as sixual themes went would have been Daggerfall I think...

I sometimes wondered if she was referring to that, or was just trying to say he's a pompous brown-noser and it came out wrong.

I'd rather she was, the guy clearly has the attitude to pull it off.
Also I'm surprised no one's mentioned the classic "Posing bodies into bad positions" thing.
