Alteration
Destruction
Enchanting
Illusion

I worry about the redundancy of crowd control spells in illusion and alteration, but I'll get over it. I'll probably also use conjuration and restoration for soul trapping and shield wards, but not as regularly as the above.

I had the idea of
Alteration
Illusion
Two-handed
Heavy armor
to be less mana dependent. Im not going to that because I really want to use destruction and I want max magicka efficiency. I will more than likely make the 3 generic archetypes :o

Archery
Sneak
Alchemy
Whatever school has that ice rune - thinkin probably Destruction - nothing allows for a quick retreat more than having paved some runes - I may need to turn and run as opposed to backpedaling, but they'll meet some surprises before they catch me. :P

Probably not going to focus on only four during the actual game, but going by the thread's rules:

Destruction
One handed
Restoration
Smithing

#1.) One Handed. (I will primarily use a mace in combat, but I will always have a powerful sword backup if my mace doesn't do the trick.)
#2.) Heavy Armour.
#3.) Possibly Alchemy? I'm not sure.
#4.) Necromancy, if it makes it in as a school of magic... doubtful, but if it does I will use that predominantly. Otherwise, just magicka in general, focusing on necromantic spells from various schools.

I'll probably end up with a stealthy assassin build. As for skills... don't know, need to look at the perks and plan my build. Stealth, swords (maybe dual wield)... we'll see.

Sorcerer:

Destruction
Conjuration
Alteration
Illusion

I might replace either Alteration or Illusion with Restoration depending on where most of the Mysticism spells are being moved to.

Rogue:

One-Handed
Light Armor
Speechcraft
Lockpicking
