What songs would you like to see on the Fallout 4 soundtrack

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 3:48 pm

Post links to songs if you can :)

For me some songs would have to be...

Songs that have already been in Fallout like World on Fire, Maybe, Let's go Sunning, Anything Goes, Jingle Jangle Jingle, Blue Moon, Orange Colored Sky, etc. ... Pretty much every song that's ever been on Fallout.

Some new songs that would be perfect in my opinion for Fallout...

This song would be perfect because it would be so ironic but yet make you feel like your part of a wonderful world that has been demolished.

The song is called Lonesome Town, that alone just goes perfect for Fallout, could you imagine walking through a wasteland and finding an abandoned town and then hearing this song play, that would bring chills to me.

Zoot Suit Riot.

Yes, it's a modern song. BUT! It's swing-style, and quite fun to listen to.

And maybe they could commission a swing-style version of Genesis' Land of Confusion... would actually fit in with just about any Fallout series they do if it was swing-style.

I would love more radio stations....

why not new songs of the area, meaning a radio station that plays only or mix with pre-war stuff with post war stuff, all new "songs". Need more Jazz, Classical, Big Band, Rag time, Country, Folk/Polka, canadian/mexican if applicable.

I'd like to hear some old delta blues. Anything by Son House would be prime. I like the It's a Wonderful World suggestion but I bet getting anything by the Great Louis would be super expensive.

Those songs are wonderful but i think that wonderful world would be to ironic since the world was blast to hell!

Honestly, I don't care too much because I use a custom playlist for pretty much every game I play but I'm growing wary of the whole "stuck in the 50s" theme.

Well thats the 'lore' and it makes sence to have those era songs but see thats you that uses custom playlists. I agree with the fact of music not having to be in the 50's but it can sound towards the lore. I mean my previous post that wasnt quoted said a song thats in a
Movie from the 80's. This is 30 years outa the lore.

Well, yeah I see the need to stay true to the game's general 50s ambience. That is one of Fallout's defining elements. Meh, I'll stick to my custom playlist: Hank Williams and Johnny Cash.

Which would be fine if the were incorperated if the songs have something to do with destruction, survival, or the well being of humanity then its fine with me.

You mean the one in the intro? It is called 'Maybe', and is also by The Inkspots just like "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" in Fallout 3.

I'd like to hear authentic swing (Not that 'swing revival' junk) and contemporary pop music of the 1940s, or maybe some of the Big Band/Vegasy singers like Dean Martin or Sammy Davis Jr. (Even though technically they're 50s/60s mostly)

The fifties theme is great, but I would personally love a new fallout that ends in 2012…...

Then we can have our own music uploaded into the pip-boy.

Meh, my character loves music regardless of what's on.

I want to see more original music (made specifically for the game) that still fits the era.

Or how about if musicians didn't stop making music?

Then I can have my techno in a post apocalyptic World.

In the world of Fallout the hippy era never happens so the 50s culture "harder homes and bunkers" stays rock doesnt get harder than elvis!

I would love a radio station or two that play "modern" aka post-bomb era songs, even if it just spoken word. The radio plays of FO3 must return!
