If we're just sticking to 50's music, then some Gene Pitney and Frankie Laine would be good. And definately more Sinatra and Billie Holliday.

If we're including later music then, "Hammer to fall" by Queen. "We grew up, Tall and proud, In the shadow of a mushroom cloud," I think that fits.
