Skyrim takes place 200 years after oblivion, so hopefully M'aiq has found a way to keep himself alive. But I do hope he's in the game, he's my favorite khajiit ever.

he is the greatest easter egg, becuase he tells of things that didnt make the cut in the game, also he is a liar that tells the truth some time, and he is a tradition, and he had a styling hat

Maiq is an easter egg that tells you a bunch of lies and makes jokes about game features that people wanted but didn't make the final cut. Additionally, he sometimes says something that is true and, if you pursue that, you might find a hidden treasure.

Also, since he's an easter egg, he doesn't actually follow the rules of the Elder Scrolls universe. If he did, he would be hundreds of years old by now. Maiq is more of a metagame tradition.

He's the only true god in the whole TES universe.

He is funny, He speaks of things that go on in the forums it is pretty awesome to see a developer put fan related stuff into their game in a mocking way. I suggest picking up Morrowind and finding him there.

He isn't as good in OB the only time I can catch him is outside of a town he tells you something, sometimes he doesnt even tell a lie, then goes running off at break neck speeds.
