What Stabilization mods do you use (OSR, SL, PCB)?

Post » Mon Jul 11, 2011 11:03 am

These are the aspects I'm concerned with:
  • Clean quit [FastExit2]
  • FPS Management [OSR]
  • PurgeCellBuffers and "crucified poses" remover
  • Autosaves

I seems that FastExit2 and OSR are almost a given.
That leaves PCB and Autosaves. Some possibilities are:
  • Auto-save_and_time_v0p9961-22136-0-9961
    • Auto-save [Unique or circular?]
    • PurgeCellBuffers and "crucified poses" remover

  • Streamline_31-10400
    • Streampurge? (cache purging)
    • Streamsmooth? (FPS smoothing)
    • Streamsaving? (timed autosaves)
    • Streamsight? (FPS enhancer)

  • HTFpcb Extended

and others. In the past I used FastExit2 + OSR + SL, but now I'm reconsidering.

Why did you turn off the Streamsight (FPS enhancer)?

It make ugly fog everywhere, making graphics mods kinda pointless.

...that and AN's fog setting capabilities are much nicer. I don't need an FPS boost really, and I can't imagine getting much of a boost from that. I'm running an HD 5870 2GB and i5-750, nothing overclocked.

OSR, FastExit 2 (why put up with having to WAIT to quit?!?!?), and Streamline. I only use the Streamsave and Streampurge features there. OSR handles the FPS end of things and AN is dealing with matching the fog distance to my RAEVWD settings.
