What Stealth Factions will be in Skyrim? : V

Yes, there very well should be considering bethesda is all about customizing your character to your abilitys. The Dark Brotherhood is a for sure and i wouldn't be surprised if there is another Thieve's Guild.

The dark brotherhood has been confirmed and since the thieves guild is a fan favorite i'm pretty sure it will return.

I'm pretty sure the Dark Brotherhood is confirmed, no other word on stealth factions so far, but I'd venture to say the Thieves Guild, or a new but similar faction will be in, I think it's kind of become one of those basic factions each Elder Scrolls game is expected to have, along with the Fighters and Mages Guilds. These factions wouldn't necessarily have to be the same ones we're familiar with, of course, or even have the same name, but there should be factions which fulfill a similar role.

I would like to see a non-violent option (Thieves Guild) as well as a very violent option (choose either a replanted quasi-legal Morag Tong or the Dark Brotherhood and help your faction push the other out while performing assassinations).

That would be weird seeing as they are a 'Morrowind-exclusive' faction. Although, of course, they may have "leaked through" during the wars.

I hope there will be something in the likes of Hlaalu in Morrowind. You know, a semi-legit faction that is mainly political. I like being able to utilize stealth in other ways than just being a thief or an assassin (the word 'assassin' is really funny 'cause it has the word 'ass' in it twice, by the way). :toughninja:

I hope the Dark Brotherhood shows up as playable, and the Morag tong as playable. I'm going to go into the Dark Brotherhood, and slaughter the freaking Morag Tong! XD

I hope we will have a proper amount of factions like in Morrowind, NOT LIKE IN DAMN CHEAPASS OBLIVION WHEN THERE ARE ONLY 4 FACTIONS WITH ONLY SO MANY QUESTS THAT YOU FINISH THE GUILD IN AN HOUR.... I really hope this time we will [censored] see some proper amount of quests unlike in Oblivion.

I would like if they downplayed all the Sithis crap this time. Dark Brotherhood seemed more like a cult than a group of professional assassins.

I wasnt specifically refering to the Morag Tong, but along those lines. I think it would be awesome to have more than one "violent" and "non-violent" stealthy factions. The more the merrier.

I imagine the Dark Brotherhood and Thieve's Guild will make a return, one of which has been confirmed (Dark Brotherhood). Naturally, I would assume the Thieve's Guild will make it into the final product as it has been in both Morrowind and Oblivion. However, I would like to see the Morag Tong. One of the cities in Skyrim, Winterhold, has a heavy influence from Dunmer culture so it's a possibility that the Morag Tong moved their base of operations. I'm skeptical of their implementation though, as much as I'd like to see them.

i too would like some GOOD quests that really feel you are sneaking like the final heist emercing in guard leisure room

1st time was kinda beep ^^ just that you really feel like you do something, and please no "you have to steal X amount" worth of items.
maybe something to do with infamy or levels so that its not that they "happen to have series of quests" you need to do. with some time between

Fun to have all 3: Morag Tong (legal assassinations), Dark Brotherhood (illegal assassinations), and Thieves Guild. Actually, I think the best scenario for a new iteration would be a Morag Tong v. Dark Brotherhood war where you can choose sides (I'd go with the Tong) and a Thieves Guild that was named something else (it's a guild of thieves, why is its name so obvious and official sounding?)

I would like to see more stealth based factions,would be nice. In fact what would be a nice idea,is if say: you worked for the thieves guild then part way through,part of that faction,or some people in that faction wanted to split off and be another guild with a different direction,maybe you could name that stealth faction yourself,this would be a great in my opinion. Stay with the original faction or split and form your own etc.

I'd like to see a hunters guild. With all the new animals and stuff in skyrim... dark brotherhood, but with animals.
