What's stylish in the wasteland?

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 11:54 am

So recently I've decided to start roleplaying.
My current character is a woman who works for mister house with over 200k caps.
Usually I just wear combat armor but now that I wanna start roleplaying it got me thinking no proper woman with that much money and who lives in the strip would walk around in armor all day.
So I was wondering what a proper lady would wear?
Idk if pre war clothes are stylish or prospector outfits or what?
I also have dead money, old world blues, and honest hearts if there's any fashionable outfits in any of those dlcs
Thanks for the help (:

Despite how much I loathe the DLC, Vera's Outfit from Dead Money is absolutely gorgeous and very fashion forward.

(I do believe they actually modeled the dress after one of Marilyn Monroe's Prada gowns, just a different color scheme.)

I hate dead money so much, and you don't get to the point were you get it until the end, and even by then you can't leave until you finish every quest. So is this any ore accessible dress that is stylish but kinda rare?

You could head over to the White Glove Society, kill one of their members and take their clothes. They seem to be rather upscale and stylish.

Oh that's a good idea. I havint gotten around the quest there yet, and if I'm correct, Marjorie gives you a dress if you become an honorary member. Thank you for your help! (:

I just wouldn't recommend wearing the creepy mask with it.

On females, the pimp boy 3 billion has a clipping issue it clips in the arm because it uses the same model as males and females have smaller arms so it looks all glitches and messed up and I really hope they fix it soon.

Vera's Outfit for females is number one choice for my fine wear. For males, it's a fixed black Grimy Pre-War businesswear.

However, my to-be House's servant female goes everywhere with Leather Armor. It just fits her.

So I got veras outfit and I can't help thinking ow impractical it is sniping death claws in some designer prada gown, so when it comes to combat, what would a proper lady wear? I've been using the stealth suit mk 2 because it has a female voice and talks alot, and gossips whic I guess is something a proper lady does, but it gets annoying sometimes, what's an armor a lady would wear?

My character is a survivalist lone wonderer. He wears the Desert Ranger Combat Armour, Daniels Hat and the Authority Glasses and uses the Ranger Seqouia and the Hunting Rifle with all attachments. I pretty proud of him and he's really strong but i found out that because he is pretty strong lvl 45 it's pretty difficult to complete lonesome road without dying alot. the labotamites had gauss rifles bruch guns ati material rifles hunting pistols and rocket launchers.

Would a proper lady wear combat armor? Or maybe I should not even go into battle and if I get attacked I should run away and hide and let a strong man protect me. I think I will do that on my next play through. A proper lady who avoids battles and runs away and just sits in her suite at the strip and sip coffee all day. That will be a fun play through. She will be like lady Jane but more rich.

Well, http://www.newvegasnexus.com/imageshare/images/27553-1313131926.jpg is my current character and what she is wearing, but she's not exactly a "proper" lady.

I like sixy sleep wear and pre war spring outfits. The game defiantly needs more frilly pink dresses.
