PC because in the end, the games on Xbox 360 is way more expensive and you get better sales on PC games even when they are new, just need to look at the right place.

It's almost like buying a car, you buy the car that use the cheapest gas/oil. Because in the long run, you save money.

PC.
Why:
The only reason for console to exist in my life - console exclusives (such as InFamous, LittleBigPlanet, etc.). Skyrim isn't an exclusive, so here I go.

It's quite interesting that PC audience is a bit bigger than Xbox + PS3 together, but also quite predictable.

Also, I hope eyefinity support would be implemented in Skyrim, because as I've noticed, graphics quality isn't going to push us further in game world - because we notice screen's border... Solution - multi-monitor setup and extreme field of vision, to cover most part of natural FoV. Exaclty, eyefinity. I think it worth it....

The PC audience for Skyrim will be nowhere near as big as the 360s...

PC players are a majority here on the forums, but in the real world Bethesda makes most of its money from the consoles, namely the 360.

I'll be playing Skyrim on PC, provided I can scraqe up enough money to get a new one. The computer I have now is an old junker that can't handle a game that new.

360, cuz I cant pay, or maybe I wouldnt even pay, for a PC that can play this. Guess that makes me not part of the "elite" of rich kids that can buy $3,000 computers. Also, I guess being "hardcoe" then means being rich? Then being hardcoe is not hardcoe at all :P

Your an idiot, $3,000 to play skyrim?? Ya I guess if you got money to burn, otherwise buying a pc is pretty much like buying a console when they are first released, $600 to get in the game, add a couple more better components if you can. Also in a year you can save some money and upgrade..... Or spend $600 for a new console and be stuck with the same specs for 5+ years, with no choice to upgrade!

I make so little money I'm embarrassed to say, but I budget and can save to buy my pc. That's what I did, and it was about $2000 under your figure. Rich kid, ha! Don't make me laugh.

While he may be incorrect about the $3k price, please refrain from name calling. It's why these tech/"which system..." threads tend to end up locked before the post limit is reached.

It's not expensive if you build from the start with upgrading in mind. Say $800 to get you started (machine, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, unless you already have your accessories). And you only have to upgrade when there's games out you can't play at your preferred settings. I mean sure, you could grab top of the line video cards in SLI/Crossfire (or Tri/Quad SLI/Crossfire), have a massive multi-monitor setup, a massive SSD(or more than one), a top of the line liquid cooler, overclock your CPU, etc, but none of that is absolutely necessary.

You are prejudiced. (Or how the hell do they say that...not a native speaker)
You know, there's a thing called "working". Just because someone has a powerful PC, doesn't mean he's a rich spoiled brat.
I am working to get the money for a new PC(around 1500-2000$). I will also sell my laptop, which I also bought from my own earned money.

Personally, I don't really like consoles. I had a PS, and I tried Xbox 360 for several hours at my cousin, I got used to the controller, but I still don't like it. As for the large HD screen... ever heard of HDMI? :)
That's all fine, I'm not barking at the console users, it's just my own opinion. (Although I LOVE kinect :D [PS I'm 21] )

So no offense, I'm just Saiyan!

I only hate it when they make the game for xbox first, and then for PC.(Force Unleashed, Fable 3, etc) :D

Yea, Todd and Pete are on record saying that around 90% of their audience is on the consoles.

Eh... that's a bit of an exaggeration. From what I understand the number of unique hits on TESNexus puts the number of PC users closer to 30%, or at least, so it's been said on a few threads on here.

That's still a pretty low number. Not even a third. I thought it would be higher than that.

It's about what I expect (somewhere between 20%-30%). Consoles just appeal to a larger audience due to their simplicity and cheap price (though people still have to wait a few years for the price to drop, it's still cheaper than PC gaming), which I can understand. Some people don't have the money, know-how, care, etc to game on PC's, so it's a great thing we have consoles.

I'll be playing on the PC, just actually built a new beast of a system so this should be good. One thing I hope they add is eyefinity support. That would be delicious.

PS - Oh, as for the comments about 'pc gamers can only be rich kids' ... are you serious? All throughout my middle school and high school years I worked to build my gaming rigs, and granted they were never the most high end but they got the job done and did it well. All it takes is a little bit of hard work (of which hardly anyone knows much. Everything must be given to them on a silver platter.) Get a job, don't be lazy, and you too can have a gaming computer.

PC is the only option for me as I plan to play the game a long time. Mods add almost infinite replay value and can fix pretty much anything. Morrowind and Oblivion are still great with mods - the unmodded versions would be almost unplayable compared to modded ones.

In Oblivion mods fixed:
- Level scaling
- Too big and clunky interface / inventory / HUD / compass
- Keyring in inventory has all keys in it
- Too low gravity (character ragdolls)
- Bug fixes the devs didn't do
(+ Much new content and much better graphics - very high resolution textures, shader effects like depth of field and godrays)

Edit:
- Slower backwards running
- Slower firing and more powerful bows
I think I could go on forever...
