What System Will You Be Buying Fallout 4 For?

Post » Fri May 21, 2010 3:10 pm

I may be thinking of buying it for PC. Just because of the mods. I think my new computer i'm getting will be able to run it. Here is how I see it though.

PC-Has everything +Mods

360- Has everything, great graphics

PS3- DLC Releases later.

This is what i think. What about everyone else?

EDIT: Changed poll choices for Hungry Donner :)

I am going to laugh if they dont release it on PC.
Then it'll crush all you're dreams.
Then i'd feel bad and then say sorry.

Why wouldn't they? And if they don't then xbox 360, which i have Fallout 3 for, will be perfectly fine. It would be at the top considering DLC and extra content/graphics.

I imagine by the time Fallout 4 is released both Sony and Microsoft will have new consoles out.

I'm really just undicided. I play Fallout 3 on my PS3 and love it, except for the whole DLC problem. If Microsoft still has the deal with Bethesda, than I think that I very well may get it for the PC.

IF they do have new consoles out when FO4 is released, i think (or hope) that it would be availbe for 360 and ps3 as was done with other popular games, making them availble for ps2 and xbox when what we know as current systems were released.

I seriously doubt Bethesda would be stupid enough to make that deal with Microsoft again. I'm pretty sure they learned their lesson. At least I hope they did.

I don't DO consoles. Besides, mod support of PC is too good to be ignored.

We've complained a lot about it, and with good reason. Let's hope that they got the message.

I'm one of those PC gamers who migrated to consoles when PC genres started to release on them... the original Xbox started it, and the 360 has pretty much made it permanent. There was a time when western RPGs and FPS games were only on PC, for the most part... not so much now. I always played PC games for those genres, not the mods or graphics, so it was an easy switch to make.

So... in other words... probably the Xbox 360, or whatever Xbox is after that. I also buy the Sony consoles, but it seems for right now the 360 is offering slightly better versions usually.

That said, I keep a PC gaming rig somewhat current, for exclusives like Crysis and the occassional game that is much better suited for PC. If they try to squeeze Fallout 4 on the current gen consoles and it looks much better on PC as a result, I could get it for PC. It all kind of depends. Everything is made for the consoles now-a-days and ported to PC though, which means PC versions look much the same... even 4 years from now that could still be true.

Xbox. My computer can barely handle a 3D RTS game nevermind something like Fallout 3. And if it can't run Fallout 3, I really doubt it will run the 4th. Plus most of my friends have Xboxes, and we always brag (well I do at least) about what we've accomplished during our gaming sessions.

PC of course, as without mods, the Bethesda games are just not challenging or difficult enough!

I only play on PC. I dont expect that Bethesda to drop Pc plataform for their main 2 games at now, TES and Fallout. PC has being a long base for Bethesda, i dunno they consider scrapping it, even selling more for consoles.

PC generate a lot of buzz, mainly with a lot of mods. Obivion is selling well until now because of mods; Beth even said on press recently that was considering release new DLC for Oblivion.
