PC, of course.

Hopefully I'll be building a new one by the time Skyrim comes out.

Price and user friendly?

price is a myth. considering most people have had to replace their 360s at least once that adds another $300 to the tab. games on consoles are $10 more a pop and if you buy a normal amount of games say 10 a year that $100 bucks per year right there that you just spent more on the consoles. games also end up in the bargain bin for pc sooner. ive seen 360 games from over a year ago still going for full price at blockbuster. unless you are building a super computer (like mine) you can build a very nice gaming rig for $800 bucks and probably a bit less. controllers are over $30 unless you buy and off brand. memory cards. also factor in that the PC can do a hell of alot more than a console and you definitely get more value for you money on a PC.

i taught my grandmother how to use a computer and she had difficulty with remote controls. if someone really cant figure out how to use a computer  then i gotta wonder how they even tie their shoes in the morning. also considering the number of hardware threads on the microsoft xbox forums they arent any more reliable either.

I usually buy it for console first because I like the feel of my controller better. Oblivion for the pc never worked well with my 360 controller. But I always end up buying the games for PC in the end so that I can play on the go lol. I've never had to replace my xbox 360. But I also tweak my xbox though I did buy an xbox 360 elite and then overclocked it also.

PC.

Hands-down.

Not only will the graphics be far superior to the consoles - but the PC version will most likely include the Elder Scrolls Construction Set, so we can extend the game experience indefinitely.

PC. I just bought a new PC for only a little over a console (Less if you count the peripherals I'd need, much less if you count a larger hard drive for a 360), and it'll still run much better - and with mods. One would be wonky to choose different, methinks!

I have a 360 and PS3 and I will be getting it for the PS3. I have tried to play games on the PC but I like my couch and a controller and big plasma TV.

I'll be playing on the PC for the ability to customise my experience. Not just via mods (although that's a major plus) but things like extending view distance, better res, textures etc. I've also got my fingers crossed that they might release a game with a UI that's suitable for the mouse and keyboard. I'm hoping the game will have at least some complexity and navigating muliple menus via a controller is tedious. It would also be good if they allowed us to map keys to functions again ie. map to M key Journal to J...

You know that PC's can also be connected to the TV...right?

PC all the way...I wouldn't even think about getting it for anything else as you don't get mods.

Yes I am aware

I agree that the PC will most likely have the best graphics of all the systems but I need to upgrade my PC and I refuse to do it until it dies. Maybe it will die before Skyrim comes out and then I may consider getting it for the PC but I prefer to do most of my gaming on consoles.

Honestly, even if there wasn't mods I'd get it for PC, I just don't feel in control enough with a console controller :S

Definitely PS3.
No way my little Sony Vaio will run Skyrim.

Unless of course between now and then I come across a large amount of money, otherwise it's the good old PS3!

Xbox :( I'd like a PC fit for gaming, but I have better stuff to spend my money on.
Why are PS3 users such a minority on the forums?

PC, of course. I'm already saving money to buy a new one in October, with a planned minimum of:

- 6-Core AMD Phenom II CPU, 3,2 ghz per core.

- 12 GBs DDR3 1333.

- Nvidia Geforce GTX 570-580 (aiming for 580, hopefully prices get dropped by October), 1,5 gbs GDDR5.

That hopefully will run Skyrim smoothly at 1680x1050, and maybe more :)

+ (surely) a 24' monitor (yeah, all TV's in my house svcks), to substitute my actual 19', and to be able to play at 1920x1080 :flamethrower:

Mac, But I probably will be using my Win7 partition ;)
I don't mind really, if they were to port it to mac it would probably be slower and released a lot later...
I do support the effort of Valve: releasing their future games at the same time as the pc version and also with good performance. Only if those 2 things are in order, an OS X version is useful.

MacbookPro 5,1:
2,4 GHz
3 GB
9600M GT
I hope the new engine is optimized and not only high-end minded like Crysis.
