What system will you be buying Skyrim for?

PC. I prefer the mouse + keyboard as controller.

 uh.......even a cheap PC more than equals and xbox........and an $800 dollar PC is far superior to a console. so unless their PC is 4 years old and has never been upgraded its gonna be better than a console. consoles are primitive by todays standards. we have gone through 3 or 4 different generations of graphics cards with each generation being more than twice as powerful as the previous generation. add on to that the increase in CPU power and larger memory etc. consoles simply cant compete on any level anymore. with recent releases they have even lost the one advantage they used to have.....less buggy releases and in fact PCs get their patches sooner than consoles. their is literally no reason to buy a console anymore except for portability.

this is approximately what the inside of a PS3 or 360 looks like. http://dl.maximumpc.com/galleries/25oldpcs/Kenbak-1_02_full.jpg

Price and user friendly?

PC all the way. I prefer keyboard and mouse control, more power and more flexibility, and mods.

Depending on the system requirements (to run it at least near maxed), I will probably get it for 360 first, and then rebuy it down the road after the latest greatest video cards come out. And then I'll buy the GOTY for PS3 just to have it all on one disk :)

But sorry, no MAC version for me...

I would find most of Beth's games hard to enjoy without mods. PC all the way, graphics are just a plus at this point.

It depends really. Oblivion always felt like a poorly ported console game on PC, i dont like the keyboard and mouse for this type of game and controller support was awkward at best. In a perfect world id be buying the PC but if its done poorly ill go PS3.

Xbox 360. I know it might be surprising to all you "SuPeRR 1337 MAh Rig can run this game with 100000000x AA and l33t Textuhres and modzz" Pc elitists, but some of us actually prefer playing on a console.

Atari 2600. Maybe Calecovision, but I'm waiting to hear if they include rotating paddle and top right button support.

Or for PC, but hey, there you have it.

Well hoping to get a good gaming PC and do some modding, but until then I'll have to settle with my XBOX, any suggestions for a good PC settup? i am virtually completely unaware! (cheaper the better)

PC for me - I've been using a mouse and keyboard since Ultima Underworld.

I've been waiting for an excuse to upgrade, and Skyrim is that excuse!
