the same poll on the SD forums would probably favour PC, but these forums seem to be populated by console users

you're right, there was a poll on SD forums a while ago, and there was a huge difference between PC and the consoles http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21734

And i post in SD forums as well but it looks like everyone is too busy fighting each other to actually talk about the game. ppl is more relaxed here

Add an "All 3" option already. I have preordered for all 3. I have fully payed off my Xbox 360 and PC versions, waiting for some extra cash to pay off that PS3 version. I am doing this just because I want to play on all 3 versions, and because I want to support Splash Damage/Brink, because I love what they are doing with the FPS genre and I support it.

I know it's a bit early but what platform will you get Brink for?
I'll most likely be getting it for the PC.

PC, only because I am a keyboard and mouse gamer. However, if I could use my keyboard and mouse on my Xbox360 I wouldn't hesitate to do so. It's too bad that Microsoft is so closed minded to different gameplay styles.

They probably think it would somehow take away a "fair chance" if there were two typs of controller (yet they are okay with rapid fire controllers.........)

It's kind of necessary. Remember Shadowrun, the game that let Xbox 360 and PC users play together? Turns out mediocre PC gamers utterly destroyed highly skilled console players - the precision m/kb offers versus a gamepad is simply too overpowering to allow the two to co-exist.

Seriously? I had no idea PC Gamers ever had the ability to play with console gamers. I suspected PC gamers would be better (Mouse and keyboard ftw) but never knew it was tested.

While I don't have a link to the actual study, here's the first game to experiment with it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowrun_%282007_video_game%29

it might work better for console vs console

Could it work? Perhaps. Will it ever happen? A snowball has a better chance in hell.

Same reason why they stopped GFWL, kb+m no matter what way you look at it, will give an advantage for shooters.

I turn aim assist off, and have no issues. I even use my 360 controller for PC games.

Ugghh, I hate it! The controls are the only reason I'm going 360 over PC

So is it safe to say that most people posting on this forum are xbox players? I keep getting the jist that the majority of you will be playing on PC, maybe its the way you talk, idk.
