What system will you be purchasing TESV for?

I did. I thought it was pretty cool.

I thought so, too. I wish I knew what was going on in it, but its vague nature is what I like.

PC, though I'm in need of an upgrade.

I've only just heard of the news myself.

I started my elder scrolls experience with Morrowind on the xbox, and played oblivion on the 360, so I'll keep the tradition going with Skyrim.

PC, no doubt. Mainly because I don't own a console, but come on, how could you not want to play mods?

i think the actual game is way more exciting than mods. I didn't encounter many good mods for oblivion excluding Nehrim as a whole

PC, being a modder and a user of mods I simply couldn't live with having it on console :P

I would love to say PC. But if it's technologically superior to Oblivion (it better be) then my computer can't run it. Maybe I can try to scrap up enough money for an amazing PC that will fit all of the system requirements. But as it stands now, PS3.

PC of course. An Elder Scrolls game without mods is chaos. The upgraded graphics and smoother controls are just a plus.

PC.

I heavily upgraded it to run Oblivion and I'll do it again for Skyrim if I have to.

The way you worded the poll makes it sound like you are asking what system we will be purchasing to play TESV on

------------------------------
I will get TESV for the 360 as I do with all my games

Would not be surprised given TES' track record in resource hogging. (I upgraded my PC for oblivion :P and come to think of it... Morrowind as well)

And I probably will need an upgrade for this game as well, hell, I might just have to bring my desktop with me to college for my next term.

I'll start on PS3, but if a modding community crops up like it has for Oblivion and I get a better computer, I'll make the switch later on.

BTW, I might add that this isn't a really good measure of the relative prportions of people who are going to buy TESV on what system because almost all of the people on this forum are PC users. I'd guess that most people are going to be playing TESV on 360, which is ironic because of the three systems on display it is the weakest and the one most holding back the development of games with better (but more demanding) engines and graphics.

PC is the real way to go. crank them graphics up to all max...then die in a joyful state. consoles can't even get close...and this is coming from someone who had oblivion on ps3 and 360.

PC...I only like to play with mods involved. Turns it into a NEVERENDING adventure. For instance, I bought Oblivion on Day 1 back in 2006, and with all the mods I have played over the years, I still have not gotten very far on the main quest.
