What If...

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 10:56 pm

Hey what's up people.

So just a little while ago I was looking at the trophy/achievement list for Brink (if you haven't you can check them out at the Official Brink website) and I saw a few trophies that requires you to complete these so called "What if" missions. I assumed they would be those challenges that have 3 levels to unlock new weapons and stuff but I wasn't entirely sure.

So, if anyone could shed some light on the situation, The Zero would greatly appreciate it :P

Not the same. What if missions are after the actual campaign, more like alternative ending missions.

Challenges are a different mode that you play to gain upgrades, One involves SMART time trial and the other a medic based one.

There are two hypothetical missions per side, yes.

Personally, I like the idea of hypothetical missions, but the question is if they will somehow tie into the main story, or if SD will just leave you with cliffhangers.

I doubt that they will leave cliff hangers, if they do then we can hope for a sequel

AAAAHHH!!!! Okay. Alternate endings make a lot more sense. That actually makes me more anxious for the game

there must be side-missions as well...
look at the difference between "viva la revolution" and "you've escaped the ark"
Win all MAIN missions vs. win all CAMPAIGN missions + what ifs
