What a terrible person.

I remember reading about this in a newspaper. She was apparently different in the head and genuinely believed that everyone loved her. It's pretty [censored] up.

Oh and she got the idea after they found out she had a benign tumor or something.

They shoul put her through chemotherapy. I think that would be quite fitting.

And I would punish them more harshly, this woman should still be punished though.

I'm pretty sure she's gonna have to give the money back, so that gets that out of the way. She'll get charged for fraud, probably found guilty, but will get minimal jail-time and probably some psyciatric-evaluations if she turns out to be a little loopy in the head.

Seems pretty good to me.

I'm not saying you should buy her a drink in the local watering hole, but honestly some people are wishing terminal cancer on her?

Yes, there's people who do this. They're just mentally ill.

Its an ironic and fitting thing, considering she faked a terminal illness for cash.

So the best thing to do with these people is to toss them in an asylum. Its what they want after all.

When has irony been fitting for punishment?

While pretending to have something like cancer is terrible, at the end of the day it's still just fraud. Hardly deserving of such a harsh punishment.

Best part of the entire article:

"Kirilow -- with her hair now grown out -- is currently in police custody and facing several counts of fraud. Her parents will not pay her bail."

Taking advantage of peoples emotions and feelings is hardly just "fraud". Just because it's not a law to take advantage of someone emotionally, it's not right.

Indeed. It was just money, and money that people volountarily gave away so you wont see anyone starving or brought to ruin because of it. But faking charity is a damn dishonorable way to make money nonetheless.

Actually, it is just fraud, and she will be brought to court on those charges. Hopefully, she will be found guilty, but if she has a mental condition, than she can get the assistance she needs.

Then this can be a funny story to laugh about.

Cancer is very serious and shouldn't be used to make thousands of dollars.

Yeah, a few hundred, maybe. You gotta draw the line somewhere.

Humanity has a lot of rotten apples. Where there's a devious will and people with money to scam, there's usually two or three scams going on already. Usually, they're called corporations or goverments.

You apparently don't get what I'm saying.
Of coarse the charge is just fraud. I'm saying, what she did is morally wrong, and more than just "fraud". I couldn't give a damn less what the governments definition of it is.
