Imagine if TES 6 were to leave off not too long after the events of Skyrim, and the effects of Skyrim were felt throughout Cyrodiil and The Aldmeri Dominion. This would give the game the opportunity to have different characters set in different regions of Tamriel. New Characters/ Heroes could be introduced or Old Character's storyline's could resume in the land they were originally left off. If we look at where the Old Characters/ Heroes left off, we see that there is the opportunity to complete or continue there roles in the 4th era. The Last Dragonborn left off canonically defeating Alduin, and maybe attributed to the civil war.
[On a side note, It doesn't matter whether or not the Empire's legion or The Stormcloaks win the Civil War, there was too much evidence that suggests both factions will be facing the Thalmor. If Ulfric or Tullius canonically wins, there will still be the objectives of: Electing a new High King/Queen (Skyrim); Electing a new Emperor (Cyrodiil), etc... This will give the game the excuse to have separate objectives and conflicts occurring in different points in Tamriel.]
The Nerevarine was left off in the rumor that he went off to Akavir. Now remember the Nerevarine is immune to age from the Corpus Disease, so he is not dead. Maybe he could be another character that introduces us to the land of Akavir and has its own objectives and story. At the end of the story it would be interesting to see if the people of Akavir will somehow hint that they might be thinking about going to Tamriel again, who knows.
Now the CoC cannot be dead either, being that he was Sheogorath's replacement and took on his likeness and immortality. He could very well still go to Cyrodiil and aid in the fight against the Thalmor. Of course the plot will expland much more than just this. I mean we already know how immense Bethesda can make their lore.
With the characters who aren't dead in the fourth era, you can make a neat character switch game, and maybe have the character's choices and actions effect other characters.
Or... You can take the same idea of the multi-characters and just have new characters instead of previous Elder Scroll heroes.
I don't know... I just had an idea floating around my mind and I just needed to get that out there. I just felt like giving Bethesda some feedback with a new idea and have other players give comments on how they feel the storyline of the TES 6 should be formulated.
Thanks to all for your time in reading this.
Please comment if you think this is a good idea or not. I am eager to see what people think on the matter.
