What TESV must have

Post » Tue Mar 15, 2011 2:17 am

As a huge fan of The Elder Scrolls IV and after spending hundreds of hours on it I am still convinced it`s the best game I have played in the past 5 years. To this day the game surprises me of how unique, open and just fantastic the game is. There are really high expectations for Skyrim, I am really hoping Skyrim lives up to it`s expectations but it will be extremely difficult. Fallout 3 and New Vegas felt like an extremely downgraded game compared to Oblivion whereas the world didn`t feel traverse, there were no real factions to join and do mutiple quests, and in general felt extremely inferior. Skyrim`s world has to be BIG with mutiple things to do, a great main storyline, must have factions just like Elder Scrolls 4 had (it`s a must). Daedric Lords and Realms must be present, many dungeons, ruins, caves, ext.. World has to be huge and traversable just like Oblivion was (unlike fallout where you feel extremely limited to where you can explore) Keeps the player to continously playing the game. I am extremely confident Skyrim will be a fantastic game, will it be better than Oblivion? well I am really hoping so. Skyrim must be playable even after beating main story and even after completing all factions and side quests there should be reason the keep playing.

Well Fallout and TES are very different game. in Fallout, they want you to feel like the world is a much more hostile, dead place. that's why it is so limited.

I'm sure Skyrim will be MASSIVE, in tons of areas.

and BTW, just a friendly tip: usually, people don't bother to read big paragraphs that much. put some spacing in it, and people will want to read it.

Fallout 3 and Fallout NV was 10 x better than Oblivion in mye eyes. Morrowind on the other hand, well thats a masterpiece :D And no worries, Skyrim will blow Oblivion out of the water in every way ;)

no factions in NV? the whole plot of that game was about a powerstruggle between 4 factions, and there were even side ones like powder gangers, all the casinos and great khans

I have a feeling from what I've seen that Skyrim is going to
great. It doesn't have level scaling, and story seems to be better
too. (Well it has scaling on some quests but I think it's the right
direction.)
