What's the Abbreviation? : V

Alright, what's the Abbreviation for Skyrim?

Morrowind was MW.
Oblivion was OB.
What's Skyrim?

It's just a question that was posed as a side comment.

Skyrim will have more content than OB, thats good news

Does anyone know the Abbreviation for Skyrim?

For some reason I'm curious, so sate my curiosity.

SK. if Oblivion was OB then it only makes sense that Skyrim is SK

I think its SR be cause you break Oblivion in O-Blivion -> OB (say O-Blivion and you can't stop anywear but the O or the end) and Morrowind is Morro-Wind -> MW (easy split... almost makes you stop at wind) and you just break Skyrim at Sky-Rim not S-kyrim because its Sky rim/ rim sky

Worship isn't permitted, I believe it was in the Forum Rules. xD

But really, if there had to be an Abbreviation for it I do believe the best is SR. (Although I often go by just saying the whole name Elder Scrolls: V or just TES:V.) But somewhere down the road there's going to be a definite Abbreviation for Skyrim, so I thought why not just start a post to try and kick it off now.

Morrowind : MW :: Oblivion : OB :: Skyrim : SR

Based on the pattern, the first two syllables of the title have ended up used as the common abbreviation.

Voted: SR (If there must be a two letter abbreviation)

Every game has an abbreviation now, sadly. TES:V is no different it would seem. But then again, you really can't confuse TES with anything else now can we?

We are already abbreviating by calling it "Skyrim." The actual title is "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"

If I had to choose one I would go with SK. SR makes me think of Saints Row.
