I would say there is no best build T.E.S games are not about beating the game.

My favorite warrior build is:

2h ( battle ax)

Light armor

Archery

Smithing

Only perked skills


Speech, sneak and block...very light alchemy.


I do not max smithing out, do not even try.. my characters rely on their skill to not get hit. Basically it's used just enough so that IF a tough baddie gets in A hit, it's not a one hit death.



Now the best in my opinion. ..

1h, block, heavy, archery and smithing... max it all out... not my play style.
