What is the console command to advance a skill?

is it AdvancePCSkill (skill name) # or is it advskill (skill name) #

Just wondering what the difference is. Thanks.

I think advskill is only for the player. AdvancePCSkill if for any npc or the player.

You may test it if you want to.

I never used it tought, so I can't grant anything. It's just wanderings from Oblivion (same cheats)

It's 'advskill ###', but without the ' marks.

Note that multi-word skill names must be typed without spaces (ex: onehanded for One-Handed), and that if raising archery you need to enter it as marksman and speech as speechcraft instead, as they use the old names internally. Also, rather than adding 1 to the skill advancing it one level, it advances it one 'experience point'. As such, you'll need to input large values for ### if you want to actually advance a level in the skill.
