Really? I don't need a reason to strip down to my skivvies.....which is also why I may or may not be banned from Rivet City....

I've got to believe that if they did make that the "twist".... they certainly wouldn't blow the twist via you dying. (i.e, an incredibly common/easy thing to occur )
...that's an interesting thing to ponder. Wouldn't the first time you try to use a stimpack / radaway / any drug, make it sort of obvious? Unless the androids are total magic, and not just Wacky Tech.
....hmmm. Did they even deal with that in the android quest in Fallout 3? Been a long time since I did that one (I'm not obsessed with gaining unique weapons, so I don't do the "run straight to Rivit City to get Int bobblehead and plasma gun!" thing).....
Yea, first quest is probably to go to your old home and check the 'secret hiding place.' It will have a 9mm and copy of Guns and Bullets. : P
I will probably chat up as many friendlies as possible, while searching for better weapons and armor - that's usually my strategy for getting a basic feel for the story environment.
All the while looking for a good place to stash my stuff, because I'm a hoarder.
Play a bit of the story, then trail off and make my own settlement
Maybe some people just do not want to play with a dog? When it is dead, out of sight out of mind.
Find some bits of armor to strap over my Vault jumpsuit, find a gun that isn't complete garbage (Laser Musket, how you doin') and run off into the wastes. Maybe try to find Diamond City, but something tells me I'll go there for the main quest anyway.
I might take a peek at some of the story right away, more than likely I'll just go for the side-quests.
Find a better gun and armor, kill some stuff and drink that nukacola from my fridge.
SMELL THAT FRESH AIR!
Then, you know, look for stuff to scrounge.
This http://balholic.deviantart.com/art/Skyrim-Main-Quest-Fail-273337742sums it up well
Caracter class for my first character in Morrowind was Tourist.
Many did the dungeon on the other side of river before entering IC.
Probably retrace my steps towards my pre-war home. Just to see how everything has changed.
Early on in the order of business will be getting to a work bench and renaming my starting 10mm into "Never Forget". Ill have that thing as my sidearm for the entire game, and I hope to find a assault rifle early on to rename to "Never Surrender", which once again will hopefully serve as my long arm the entire game.
Whatever I decide to do I will take my sweet ass time enjoying the visuals of the Fallout 4 world and REALLY savor it.....Fallout 3, I was running around like a psychotic android and didn't appreciate the grand scope of that world until my 2nd run through.
Fallout 4 = 1,500 hours of my life guaranteed...if you don't believe me then believe my anti-material rifle!
Exactly what I'm going to do. However not for too long, because internet spoilers.
Anyone mentioned doing this yet? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb4eZ7Z5yk8
Im going to build a gun to my taste and mess peeps up with it.
I expect I'll leave fully intending to follow the main questline, only to wind up doing all sorts of unrelated things in the wrong direction, looting half the map, and completing the first main quest objective after several days instead of a few minutes.
