die probably
First thing I'll do is likely get killed by the first random monster encounter because I was too busy looking around at everything else. Happened in FO3, happened in NV so why stop the tradition at this point.
Probably start the MQ for a little bit until I get enough gear/caps and then either head to Boston/Diamond City or just wander.
where exactly would "left" be then, coming out of a round hatch?
Must be nice to have options, I have to go right.. I'm not an ambi-turner.

Loot the closest building and see what I'm able to craft from the contents. Reset, and do it again with the second closest building. If the results aren't satisfactory, reset a third time, loot both buildings and see what the combined scrap yields.
Go west, and see how far I can go before the magical barriers block my path. Boston looks like DC all over again to me....
And while I'm out there, hopefully I'll stumble on a good location to build a custom base from. Just read up on how robust the crafting system actually is. Pretty amazing....
shoot the damn dog
if he is flagged essential , open the console command and make him non essential
yup, i'm just gonna make a left turn and then walk straight ahead from the the round thingamabob.
ok i see: left is everywhere, assuming you turned left. )
try too find concord so i can try out power armour
I'll go to higher ground and will try to spot nearest settlement, then i'll go there.
Probably point the view straight at the ground and have a close look at the resolution detail.
While hoping and praying that the Beth engine is better than that Rage rubbish on id Tech 5.
Check whether the final edits to my character's appearance were successful, or I need to return to my end-of-the-vault save.
Find a settlement to either ensnare into my new cult, or destroy. Then bathe in FEV somewhere along the line.
one these day beth has allow you to become a super mutant lol
