So, what's the first thing you'll do in-game?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 4:24 am

Get distracted like I always do and end up wandering around doing whatever the heck I feel like doing.

I am going to explore with n o set goal I am going to take in all the sights. I am going to scope out the land and the gameplay get it to know all of its ins and outs, the only thing I will be aiming to do is level up like crazy and accumulate a ton of gold and rare items and but several houses, if I can...

Make sure there are no enemies around, and start checking out what my character can do. Jump up on rocks, jump from rock to rock, see how far I can fall without dying, practice fighting with the closest tree, draw my sword, sheath it, draw my sword, sheath it, runaround, jump. Basically act like an idiot until I get used to things.

Throw down a hard save "just in case," then pick a direction and start walking.

Explore my new surroundings with great caution. Try and find the nearest town to get some new clothes and a place to sleep. Hit up a bar... Maybe start a fight...

I figure first thing I'll do is try and skip through the company logo flash screens, and prepare to watch the opening cinematic. :P

I don't know. I guess I'll figure it out once I leave the prison. In Oblivion and Fallout 3, I went to Imperial City and Megaton first, respectively (obviously I can't go to the closest town in New Vegas since you start in one), so I'll probably seek out the closest city and go there and rack up quests and money.

Probably gap in amazement at the graffics for a while. Then look around, gather some odds and ends. Find the nearest town, sell the odds and ends for a few pieces of gold, get some equipment, and then get myself good and lost.

I will run to the first location I see and gape in awe at it, even if that location is a pile of rat dung. At least, if it is rat dung, it will look amazing on Skyrim's engine.

I'll open up the console and start the last quest in the main storyline to post the ending on Beth forums and youtube. Then I'll go into the construction set, find where they hid all the goodies, and post that too.

:celebration: Pretty close to what I'll do--I'll set levels so I can levitate right away--I miss that most of all! :shifty:

First, have an orgism. Then, go look for the 7000. Then, another orgism. Then, I think I'm ready for some hard core exploring. During my time with Oblivion, I've only used the console once, to fix a bug. I really can't believe how many *want's* to cheat themselves.
