Spend about ten hours messing around in character creation. Then do a lot of exploring. And a lot of drooling, I'm sure. Oh, and mod the spiders out; that's an important first, too. ;)

I think the first time I load the game up, I'll just sit back and stare at the menu screen, and allow the music to play until an inactivity video pops up...You know that video that plays if you spend too much time sitting there at the menu?

After that, spend a lot of time picking race, skills, etc.,

Then the aforementioned NPC's briasts post.

Well, after leaving whatever hole you start out in, I'm gonna look for Mudcrabs or their equivalent, and kill them for a while. And then market crab shell ash trays to the masses.

If I got it on the PC, I'll enter the following on the console:

#1- TGM, Level 100, Fame/Reputation 200
#2- Player.SetGold 9000000
#3- coc (Supplies in the game)
#4- Collect all the crap
#5- movetoqt/coc location
#6- Buy house
#7- Put crap in house
#8- Play the game! =D

Oh, and I'd enter TMM 1 or something of that nature to reveal all the locations in the game.

First thing after escaping from prison is to find me an axe, some armor and a big flagon of mead. Then I'm going to find a nice cozy spot with a fire and sit down ;)

And why do you need an axe in order to sit down?

Me, I'll probably explore the world by foot a bit, get in some trouble, and maybe do some minor quests, before engaging the MQ.

And you?

I'll do what I always do, I'll stay on track with the main quest until I see something shiny and then I'll get off track for about 60 hour then head back to the main quest lol.

Explore a lot, get involved in a side quests and a fitting guild, etc. I'll probably purposefully avoid the main quest until much later.

The first thing I'll do in the game - I'm going to explore. For hours. Maybe do a few sidequests. I never start the main quest until I'm at least level 15. I love fast travel for quests, but I always love to meander through the game world for hours on end, just to see what I can find.

Now I come to think of it, if they implement side games, chances are I'll immediately go to the nearest pub, earn money by playing dice and then some more by winning booze and brawling matches! :celebration:

Practice combat and decide if it's too compicated for me.

See how the bow shoots....is it still a lob?

Decide if I should shelve the game.

Ya, that's about it

I'm going to find a hideout, assemble my tool kit, and proceed with my planned burglaries. Then maybe make friends with some fences and start forging "bin'ness" contacts.

I imagine my character might have a midlife crisis from being imprisoned (btw is that actually conformed? i havemt been able to see the article or read all that much about it) so he's just gonna find the nearest corner and cry

Or hug a tree, please tell me you can hug trees.

Considering the animation on the Oblivion bows that made me feel like I was holding a child's bow, I wasn't really surprised by the arrow flight.

But from the sounds of the GI article BGS is aware of this and is fixing it, at least in terms of damage per shot.

But you already knew that...
