So, what's the first thing you'll do in-game?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:13 am

Me, I'll probably explore the world by foot a bit, get in some trouble, and maybe do some minor quests, before engaging the MQ.

And you?

I will do what the game hints strongly that I should do so that I can get my feet in the game.

Same as eeeeeeeveryone else, regardless of what they say here

I would probably begin exploring, start MQ, do sidequests, do more MQ, do more sidequests, etc.

Get my self a dissent set of fresh clothing (a lady can't walk around in rags provided by prison guards) and go find the Mages Guild, or whatever local equivalent exists.

Same thing as i did in Oblivion and Morrowind. Run around and explore the world, ignore the Main Quest completely.

I'll open up the console and start the last quest in the main storyline to post the ending on Beth forums and youtube. Then I'll go into the construction set, find where they hid all the goodies, and post that too.

If I'm near a town after getting out if prison I'll walk up to a guard hit him and then try to survive for as long as possible. I'll do that a couple of times to get a hang about fighting large groups and fighting in general.

If not then I'll head to the nearest dungeon and try to clean it out, again loading a few times so I can get a hang of combat.

Then do what I like most about these games: ignore the main quest and explore :D

Armor, Armor, and more Armor. Hopefully I can find something good before I head on my merry way.

Find the nearest waterfall and see how it looks. Something I always look for in games. Crysis is still winning so far.

Then venture to a city, find a mead hall, dig in for the night. :foodndrink:

Seriously before I start the MQ, I will refer to the guide.. As I might miss some important "stuff" along the way. (if I don't do certain quests in a certain order).

I like your thinking haha.

For me, I'll do as I usually do and just start trecking in the opposite direction I'm supposed to. Avoid the main quest for as long as I can, explore. Also, to the looks of it, it seems there are a lot of caverns in the screenshot posted yesterday hidden around the surrounding cave on ledges. Bottom left, top, etc. Wonder if we'll be able to go inside there? I would assume so. That's where I'll be once I get there haha.

Oh and Spectre IV, your avatar is the bees knees.

I'll go to a nearby town and raid boxes and barrels for stuff to sell. Once I sell and have enough, I'll buy a decent set of clothing and at least a dagger. Then I'll see if they have a Fighter's Guild and join it.

Once I complete the Fighter's Guild quests...I guess I'll have enough money to buy a small shack (assuming we get to buy houses). Once I'm moved in, I'll explore the world, hunting and selling for more money.

If there's an arena (and there'd better be!!!) I'll see if I can't sign up and once again become Skyrim's Arena Grand Champion.

Once I finish those, I'll continue exploring, do sidequests here and there.

Eventually, I'll do the main quest, but not until I'm at least Level 5. I don't want the DOVAKIIN to be a weak, recently-escaped prisoner.

Just get to the first spot of civilization as quickly as possible. See what the place has to offer, gear up and get on my way to the first stage of the main quest.

If that screenshot's any indication, I'm going to look around. Then look around some more.

No. I don't get bored.
