What Is the First Thing You Plan On Doing When You Get Your

Post » Thu Dec 23, 2010 5:40 pm

Buy all the Skyrim games (PC, PS3, and 360) at gamestop druing the midnight release, and destroy every disc in front of the people waiting to buy it. MUAHAHAHA

no but really, I'm gonna be hitting obibongkenobi and just letting the game take me where it may. I feel i will be gravitated to the East though... towards my dunmer brethren.

Read the manual as it installs, do some backflips in my room to keep the adrenaline from going insane(carefully avoiding my pc) and then exploring the new cities and landscape, admiring it.

Drool a bit, then get in muh car and go home. Once I get home, I'll give my girl a huge hug and kiss because she will get no more attention from me for a while lol, rush to my 360, throw on my turtle beach headset, and load the game up (after opening the case, popping it in, yadda yadda yadda.). And seeing as how you start in a prison again, I'll make my way through the boring tutorial while closely examining every aspect of the world thus far. I'll be ANXIOUSLY awaiting the emergence from the prison so I can sit and marvel at the new world that Bethesda has created for my enjoyment for the next few years. Oh yeah...and I'll probably j!zz in my pants....but from there on, who knows? lol

I'll read the instruction manual!

Am I part of a rare minority that actually does this?

Yes, yes you are.

1. Thoroughly examine the exterior of the case.
2. Open the case.
3. Read the manual.
4. Put the game into my PS3.
5. Wait for game to be fully installed onto my PS3.
6. Watch everything that appears/plays and fully listen to the theme song.
7. Click the new game option and forget that the world around me exists.

Read the instruction manual on the toilet

Yeah, that while the game is installing. It's better than biting nails out of excitement. :)

After that I'll grab some beer, and I'm ready for many non-stop hours of Skyrim. :D
In game I'm first going to spend a couple hours in Character Creation checking what the different races can look like.

Obviously I'm going to plunge into it right away. No manuals, no nothing. Just diving right in. No regard for what's going on in the outside world either, hopefully gonna be able to dedicate at least two straight days to playing Skyrim.

I'm going to do what any self-respecting PC owner would do, Boot up the Creation Kit and have a good nosey around, just because I can.

First I'm gonna lock myself in my room then I will play it non-stop with the intensity of thousand suns so long my eyes starts burning then I will take couple of minutes cooldown before I continue this non-stop playing for couple of weeks living only with the pure power of gaming. I will also grow an authority mustache with epic beard by power of epicness I'm getting from playing Skyrim.

Installing the game :)

Other than that, I don't usually plan things ahead when it comes to games. That just takes the fun away of being surprised. But I usually have a routine of exploring the towns first and doing civilian tasks and whatnot, then move on to working for guilds etc and finally, when all of the scripted stuff is completed, I'll go out into the world and explore to my hearts content.
