Explore my surroundings, get to know the land and the peoples. Just basically get a feel for the game, before jumping right into the quests.

(I like your pic, btw. very cute. CATS RULE!!!! :frog: )

Ya, I'm going to wander around and find a town, see what new stuff exists there. In Oblivion, it was straight into a dungeon. It was the right choice for that game. I'm sure this will be the right choice for this game!

True indeed. I remember the first time stepping out into the sunlight after the sewers in Oblivion. I didn't even notice the Elven ruin in front of me for all the scenery. Skyrim will look amazing no doubt. It would totally svck if you had a random encounter with a dragon as soon as you're set loose in the world though. Imagine it: FREEDOM!!!! Squish! lol

P.S. Thanks about the pic. I love cats too. I also like Lady Syl too. She was my favourite character in Shivering Isles :P

Awesome. Do you mind if I say that I love you now? (If you say no, I just might kill you...)

Yeah, that would definitely ruin the game experience for me, getting ambushed by a dragon right away. I don't think I'd last very long. Exploration is definitely the way to go. I intend to get to know Skyrim like I know Cyrodiil and the Shivering Isles--like that back of my hand. You see, Tamriel and the other realms are real in my mind....

Yeah I think you're right. Get to know the lay of the land. Although, and I'm soooo excited about this, when it snows, I'm hoping the landscape will change drastically. Because of the new dynamic snow feature, the way you approach tracking and pathfollowing might be altered. It's gonna fuuuun. :P

I'll find something really high, walk up, and jump off. I'll probably die, but I'll remember how far I went. Then later on when my character is all but a god, I'll come back and jump again to see if I can see if I can go farther and survive.

Once my messing around is done though, I'll start picking up quests and looking for factions...leaving the main quest till I'm pretty strong.

Okay, you're safe. For now....

Yes, I hope the snow will do that too. That will make the experience so much more exciting!

Interesting way to go about it. Hmm. Gain strength and then tackle the main issue. Nice. I like it. Might just have a crack at that myself.

This is great! I think I should like to try it myself! Can't even count how many times I jumped to my death in Oblivion, although it was seldom even on purpose. Many times, I was just testing my character, as you said.... :dead:

In oblivion, I went to Dive Rock, where the Uderfrykte Matron was, and leapt off of there. That was a pretty fun experience. XDD

I love murdering people (in the game, don't worry...)

I have some memorable favorites in Oblivion--my most favorite was that Dunmer from prison, in the DB mission. But I liked going after anyone who offended me, as well as the occasional guard (when I was really in the mood for a fight--read: suicidal :flamed: )

Explore the world for quite a few hours, then most likely go on a killing/stealing spree and try to discover how to start the Dark Brotherhood so I dive straight into that :D

Oh yeah. I completely forgot about those guys. Those...great...guys....ahem....

Yeah totally. I loved the main quest for the brotherhood the first time. I think it had the right amount of pacing to the story so it became really dramatic and tense. Nice one ^^

I have a top of the line graphics card. I'm going to spend time tweaking the graphic options to see if this another Bethesda game where you can't play the game with the best graphics card out there like all the other games they made. Where I'll have to wait 2-3 years and 4 graphics card upgrades/iterations in power before I can finally see decent framerates. Because if it's like that, I won't be happy. But if they've finally optimized their code and the game is indeed playable this time out of the box, then I will give them my full Kudos at that time.

Fair enough. You have my sympathies for past games.

Lucien Lachance was pretty cool. Creepy, sinister, and menacing, but still cool. One of the more memorable characters, I have to agree. :D

The Dark Brotherhood questline was awesome in Oblivion. Was the only questline where i actually looked forward to the next mission i was getting, where as a lot of the others were erm... err... a bit boring sometimes (i'm looking at you, main quest).

Make my way to nearest town, find a cloak to buy. If I cannot find one to buy and someone is wearing one I will kill them and wear their cloak. I will then travel up to Winterhold and hope that the College of Winterhold was included and there shall my magic begin ^_^.
