Actually, you do. In a Gamebryo game, the auto-aim is the part of the game that puts bullets where you aim them. No aimbot? No bullets going where you want them. VATS doesn't work properly. Free-aim is horribly broken. The aimbot does not in any way help you aim, it merely directs your projectiles where you want them to be. Snipers in Fallout 3, myself included, often mod the aimbot to be able to function at MUCH greater ranges than the default 1800 units, that way we can freely target body parts much farther out than normal.
