People are really strange on these forums, they are judging the graphics on a magazine scan of a pre alpha build of a game coming out in 10 months....how about you people wait a few months until e3 and judge the graphics then....better yet judge them when the previews come out in October.........

Agreed just that some people just tend to not wait till more info and just pre-judge, tbh from the scans the game looks many times better looking then that of Oblivion and its an impressive feat even if its alpha code

true I have heard people bash Crysis...and that game had great graphics....game was not fantastic though

The same could be said about praising the game as well. Why should we praise the graphics if we haven't seen them in their full glory?

Are you really saying people aren't allowed to state their opinions? I mean, isn't that one of the many purposes of a forum?

Also, the game is far from the "pre-alpha" stages. If anything, it's in the late beta stages, almost good enough to be put in bug testing for release. It was in alpha like maybe until a year ago, and it was in pre-alpha before the game was even being created (hence the term, PRE-alpha).

As for my take on the graphics, they're alright. Not bad, but not mindblowingly great either. Or at least not "next-gen" like Todd was saying. Is it better than Oblivion? Well hell yes it is. But it's not as great as it was played out to be.

This game has been pretty hotly anticipated, it's natural that people are going to be terrified it is a flop, I have faith that Bethesda will make an immersive and njoyale game (albeit different)

Agreed, I dont really know who you are talking about specifically but I agree 110% its like looking at an uncooked steak and going like "I'm not eating that its too bloody"
