For me, I don't think I've ever managed to break 60. No idea how some people can keep playing well past 100.

53 but the last 5-6 levels was boring, and at that point I just wanted to end the game to try out a new build approach. After that, I haven't gotten to more than in the 40's before getting bored with it. Now I just wait and see if the DLC's are worth buying, and in the meantime plays something else
ditto
48 after multiple restarts.
im thinking a big part of why...
there really is no end-game kind of build up.
we get way too powerful, way too quickly; and the highest Tier Perks are just... blea.
-I have absolutely no desire to select any of them.
I'm a one-playthrough kind of person, so I'm at level 70. All I'm doing now is exploring all the locations I discovered, but didn't enter. Just did the "Mystery Meat" quest. Good stuff. lol
I have zero interest in starting a new character and redoing everything I just did. Uhh no.
Currently level 65. I barely started the main quest. Sooner or later I will locate Nick Valentine to continue the story.
Low 50's on my first playthrough, 65 on my second play and winding down.
After 60 or so there are just not any perks that I care about getting anymore.
I have finished all 4 faction endings, 3 of my PC's I finished with are in the 50's. The one PC I still play with is lvl 69.
Level 61 and just finished the MQ a couple hours back. I'm not happy with any of the MQ outcomes aside from the Minutemen (I went with RR) and I really cannot stand Preston and his stupid hat so I won't be starting another game until after there are good quest mods to play.
For now, I do radiants, explore places I haven't been yet (maybe halluciGen today), build a little here and there, find new places to get down with Hancock and wait for DLC.
Well, that's a thing. I don't do much building, and certainly not the minutemen path, which struck me from the get go of meeting Preston and the others in Concorde, as being wimps and not wasteland material, except the tinker (can't remember name) So most of my levels are done exploring and the few quests I could get that wasn't faction related. Even without the faction quests, it gets old, pretty quickly for me. I have more fun looking for the teddy bear scenes (along with skellie's / toy's) than doing quests in this game
High 60's - low 70's? I don't really pay much attention any more.
Agreed. Many of the highest ones are absolutely useless by the time you can get them. Unbreakable bobby pins? I have several hundred and rarely break one. Terminals don't kick you out on failure? I never fail. Investing in stores? Who needs money. Stealth 5 is useless because enemies already can't find me. Fortune Finder 4 is just weird.
44 at present, and I've pretty much got all the perks I want, so I think I'm probably stopping there. If I choose any more perks it'll just be out of curiosity as I'm already overpowered.
I probably not doing to restart the game unless patch/dlc/mods or something else added that needs one. Lvl 105 and it took very long time to get where I want so I really hope I don't need any restart. I doubt there are another way to solve the quests either. Friends with all factions, all bubbleheads and alot of stash to build settlements. Some companions was not easy to please when I try to increase their friendship by doing radiant quests and explore. Beside of workbench, I have 10 containers filled up with things collected - one container for each type of stash. To be able to find the best power armor, you need to have somewhat high level, if not, less powerfull armor can be found, but I have them all.
Cheers,

Yeah, not much point in a second playthrough without DLC and mods, IMO. It would be exactly the same.
Highest was lvl85.
Leveling is easy if the number matters to you and the actual level doesn't really mean anything other than perks you probably don't need.
In my boredom I made two characters and tested Int 11 vs Idiot Savant. Both hit lvl 60 around 45 hours so it's not like you need 100-300 hours if you just want levels.
First and current character is lvl 74, still need to finish the main quest... LOL
First character, got to level 20 and I got fed up with "hey there's another settlement that needs help" with the minutemen...so restarted the game and didn't talk to Preston after Sanctuary...now level 51 with this character and doing mostly radiant quests and exploring...
First playthrough, about level 50...a lot of exploring, building, and a lot of side quests plus the main to the end...took about 60-70 hours..
Second playthrough, I think level 49...with Idiot Savant...still a fair amount of exploring (usually out of boredom), wasn't very interested in building this time, a few side quests, and haven't gone through the main to the end yet...took about 25-35 hours...but I have been playing maybe 6 hours a week the past few weeks...NEED A DLC!!!...
Level 150, but I'm not playing fair (so to speak), so it doesn't exactly count. I am playing on the console, at least, so I still had to grind my way to this point. Still debating if I want to spend the dedicated time to maxing out the character (15+ minutes per level with dedicated grinding).
82, survival. Just when I thought the game was getting too easy, I got my backside handed to me when I arrived at Warwick farm to help repel an attack, only to run into a pack of at least 12 charred feral ghouls, two were legendary.
