I had thought that it was 999,999 as I hit that and it never went above. Then after doing some heinous task for a lunchbox I got a whopping 600 bottlecaps (500 was my major award... woo /sarcasm). My new total became 1,000,599.

So, is it one million bottlecaps (pinky to mouth) - 1, and if so, why could I exceed that limit with lunchbox awards?

Out of curiosity, what version control does Bethesda use? Just professional curiosity (long time developer enacting a major change to Git/GitLab at our company.)

I have had the same, capped at 999,999 then received a lunch box award. It does not seem to count any other rewards.


Pretty boring really after 250k there isn't much sense even having any more, you should be able to buy lunch boxes or mr handy with excess caps or at the very least remove be the limit so it have some semblance of interest.

It's 999,999. However, I did go just below that before and got money from one of my dwellers that was exploring for a long time and it went a little past 1000,000. I think it's just because it gave me all of the money the dweller earned because I was a little under the bottlecap cap but instead of stopping at 999,999, it gave me the whole amount the dweller found. I think it only happens by accident. It didn't add on any more money after that one time.
