I know a shield is 85% with 5/5 Shield Wall but what about 5/5 Shield for a 2H weapon?

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Block has details of the block skill. With no perks a shield will block 45% of damage while a weapon or torch will block 30%. With all the perks and some fortify Block items it looks like it would be possible to get both shields and weapons to the 85% cap though.

That's good to know, thanks! I've been wondering about this for a while.

So after doing the equation it seems the number comes out to 300 if my block skill is 100 and shield wall is 5/5. Guess it makes the 85% cap.
