I have google searched and I can't get a straight-forward cohesive answer.

As it stands I am lvl 44 with maxed out with all my perks in 1H weapons, Block, Hvy Armor and Smithing. Everything else rests at around 30-50. Will I be able to continue to level up and get all the thief/assassination skills such as sneaking, light armor and maybe lockpicking? Or at a certain level will I not be able to recieve any more perk-points?

You will continue leveling until all of your skills hit 100, there is no "level cap" per se

generally you go for 5-7 main skills in TES. you've only got four. Level more stuff

Happy you posted this as i was starting to feel the same frustration. Wondering if I maxed out on one or another particular skill perk.
Then would that leave another skill perk undervalued.
Many thanks to members who cleared that up for the author of this thread and the too the members for answering it and easing my tensions.

from what i've heard the soft cap is 50 (5-6 skills maxed) and the mathmatical cap is 75 (all skills maxed). so assuming this is true that's 74 perks total

I've seen a poster on these forums claim they have a level 83 character. One of you has to be wrong x)

Max is a little over 80. However, enemies stop scaling with you at 50.
