first, anyway here's another one:

I went in the wilderness with my argonian thief/mage and found 2 imperial foresters near bruma. all of a sudden, one of them started firing at the other. and i was like "dude, wtf are u stupid or something?" eventually though, the atttacking forester was killed because i guess the other one was a better shot and then my character finished off the other one because he's an evil b******. :woot:

Haha ya. Fun to watch NPC's battle each other and they aren't sloppy like the Arena dudes you can bet on.

No really a WTF moment, but I think it's funny.

I'm fighting a couple zombies with my warhammer (not wasting charges off my mace) when it breaks. I spent the next 10 minutes zombie boxing three of them. I haven't laughed so hard during a fight ever before.

Haha nice at least you won. Many a times in OOO I've run into enemies who like to run around casting ranged spells and healing themselves. Nearly impossible to kill them until you come back at a higher level or by turning down the difficulty. Probably had about 3 10+ minute battles where I just turned down the difficulty after either dying and/or using up tons of potions/welkynd stones.

Not smart to bypass the auto censor twice in one post.
Probable warning or thread closure.

Don't close the thread! I agree on the warning though, just leave it censored, we get the point when we see that we can imagine what should be there.

I have no power I was merely warning him/her that he/she may get a warning or get this thread closed.

With the ability to edit posts, mods would not close the thread over a post like that.
But back to the WTF moments.

I have one, One day I made a new character, just to mess with peoples minds. I stole stuff from everyones houses in a district in the IC, I dump the loot in a bedroom of someones house, a lot of gems on the bed, some weapons, and the owners sleep ON these super uncomfortable stuff, and it doesn't seem to phase them. But yeah, Tons and tons of plates, cups, and about 100 bottles of wine by the bedside. It was just awesome.

I still remember this four years after it happened since it was one of those what the **** just happened moments. I was running back to Chorrol from Anvil. The terrain gets to be steep but manageable if I run. From out of nowhere a wolf runs and tries to attack but its momentum propels him above my head and its body goes careening to the valley below. As I watch the wolf roll down another one does the suicidal plunge to get at me with the same results. Now with mods my character can turn into a wolf but refrains from it because of that.

This was a glitch, but I think it counts.

Me and Sal (RIP) reached Leyawiin on foot, only to be denied entry to the city. Someone had actually walled up the gate.

I spent a couple of minutes basking in the WTF-ness of the moment before discovering that I could walk through the wall and found the gate.

Seems like it was a prank in Oblivion. Really weird though.

Shouldn't WTF be censored too then? I know I don't pronounce it 'WTF' when I read WTF...

I don't know, probably but since it is not technically a swear word I doubt they would change it as you must know what it means to understand it and that is pretty much what the censor is. If you know the word they were going to say you can substitute it in leaving the innocent to wonder.

The F stands for Fanacasescul, why would that be censored?

Yeah, censorship is great. If you live in 1930s communist Russia. Meanwhile, back in the real world, people can make up their own minds. :shakehead:

Let's get back on topic here. There is a WTF moment I encounter pretty often with the Marauders of Fort Alessia, but the first time I was really weirded out. I was fighting the boss marauder and a couple others, with a battle mage in the back trying to get me. He ended up killing his buddies for me. WTF dude, learn to aim!

Haha ya that rocks. If there's a mage in a group just run around till they kill their own teammates.

I personally think it's fine to ban swearing on a public forum. It's unnecessary and doesn't add anything to the topics at hand. Only when you moderate people's opinions and stuff like that its uncalled for censorship, especially when the only swear words that seem to be censored are the actually bad ones.

Anyway, back to the topic! My character fell through a rock and into the Great Mystical Underground Sea of Neverending Water seven times today. SEVEN. Argh. Annoying. :brokencomputer: Thank God I can always tcl myself out when that happens, but it still bugs me. Usually it doesn't happen that much though.

Oh, and I had an Anvil guard walk up to me and say "May he rest in peace" and walk away. Again. That's the second time in like a day. Apparently someone of great importance just died in Anvil, because they suddenly feel an intense need to lament his passing.

Haha. Oddly I never fell through the ground while playing 360, but I've fallen through myself several times on PC and have seen enemy weapons and shields fall through a ton after I kill them.
